> 3 dayRequires your wifi to output 2.4GHz. We live in 2022 now, devices should be compatible to both 5GHz and 2.4GHz and not require me to fiddle with my router settings.

21-11-2024Been using these about a month now. Setup was pretty easy and they are so far more reliable than the Wemo smart plugs I was using though I think most of the Wemo problems are with the App. The scheduling is easy to set up and having the ability to set different schedules for each day of the week is nice if needed. I was apprehensive about trying these considering the rather poor reliability of their bulbs. Their dimmable LED bulbs flicker often and their LED bulbs in general seem to only last about 1 to 2 years. Only time will tell if these smart plugs were a good purchase.

> 3 dayI am not new to smart plugs. I am not new to smart home devices. And these are quite possibly the worst smart plugs I’ve ever dealt with. I installed them, I set them up with Alexa, and they went off-line. I reinstalled them, I set them up with Alexa, and they went off-line. This continued for two days, then I took a break and used another brand. Today, I decided to try them again. Same result. We have other smart devices on the same network, including smart plugs from other companies. Everything else works. These do not. They cannot stay connected to the network, and it takes upwards of 15 minutes to convince the plug to reset so they can be reinstalled…. again. So far, the maximum amount of time they have spent online is six hours. After that, they go offline. I am ready to toss these things out the window with extreme prejudice and chalk up the money spent to a lesson on why you shouldn’t impulse buy smart plugs..

> 3 dayI had purchased a 3 pack of these from Cosco and 2 of them work (with the Feit app and with Alexa). I bought another pack of 3 from Amazon and none of them work (with either their app or with Alexa). I’m not sure what the difference is because they appear to be the exact same model. I have tried more times than I can even count and done all the trouble shooting I can find, and still no luck. I’m ordering another brand of smart plugs and hoping they will work better.

24-11-2024Was unable to set up the plugs in the Feit app. Im hoping it is an oversight and these plugs werent added to the apps list, but will be in the near future.

> 3 dayIve owned a ton of home automation products (switches, outlets, etc.) and I have to say since switching to Feit has been nothing but amazing. Ive had several different brands in the past, but none have some close to the reliability of the Feit. They rarely if ever go offline and I can depend on them to be up and running when I need them. I have over 30 Feit devices in use and they are all working incredibly well. They are responsive and the WiFi works amazing. These plugs are great - the size is just right and I find them to be less bulky than the other brands Ive used. I would 100% recommend these to anyone!
