Wifi Smart plug

> 3 dayIm happy with them, because they allowed me to turn of things I left running. But it wasnt with out a rocky start. I found the instruction for adding them to your wifi network lacking. The Feit iOS app procedure for provisioning these little smart plugs into the application, is missing one simple instruction (visual clue). When you click to Add + a new device, the app offers you a few type categories to choose from. Smart plugs is the first category simply touch the plug youre wish to add. What comes next had me stumped for 2 hours. Theres a gray out Next button at the bottom of the page, and your left standing there starring at the screen waiting for that Next button at the bottom of the screen, you expect to light up. It will never happen. Above the Next button is the word Confirm. It simply looks like text on a screen that has no function. But until you tap it, nothing is going to happen. All Feit had to do was make the word Confirm look like a button, and I would have had it provision in 3 mins. Such a simple detail, make the button look like a button, all those people whom returned these things because they couldnt get them provisioned could have been avoid, and the LIKES number would have been much greater.

> 3 dayHave used Feit WiFi light bulbs and now smart-plug. All products have worked well and easily attached to my Google Home assistant. Pricing is very competitive and the feature content of the bulbs is great for the price. I highly recommend. I have purchased most of the Feit products at Costco, when they are on sale.

> 3 dayBought these because I had 4 feit electric LED bulbs. What a mistake - buying the bulbs and these outlets. The software seems well designed, I didnt have any issues navigating it or setting the devices up the first time but they outright refused to stay connected/would intermittently drop connection then come back a while later or drop the connection entirely and refuse to sync no matter what I did. Theres a second process available as a form of recovery so you can get them to sync again, that didnt work either. I adjusted my routers settings and that did nothing. In the end I spent a couple hours trying to get them to sync back up with the software and failed.

> 3 dayI had purchased a 3 pack of these from Cosco and 2 of them work (with the Feit app and with Alexa). I bought another pack of 3 from Amazon and none of them work (with either their app or with Alexa). I’m not sure what the difference is because they appear to be the exact same model. I have tried more times than I can even count and done all the trouble shooting I can find, and still no luck. I’m ordering another brand of smart plugs and hoping they will work better.

> 3 dayChristmas lights indoors and outdoors come on at the same time. No running around the house to plug things in. Two outdoor and six indoor plugs work perfectly. Easy installation. Turn off and on from anywhere the internet is available.

> 3 dayKept going off line. I purchased some at our local Costco. Loved them so much so decided to buy on Amazon since Costco wasn’t selling them anymore. But these were defective. They kept going off-line. Had to constantly re-set them. So aggravating. So returning them. Will just live without until Costco brings them back.
