Great for saddle hunting

I’m using this as part of my ascend setup to climb trees for trimming. Beats fooling around with a prusik hands down.

I bought 2 for saddle hunting. They work much better than a prusik for the lineman rope and tether ropes. A little pricey, but worth the money!

I use it to adjust my lineman belt while climbing into my treestand and setting up climbing sticks. Super simple and works great, its exactly what I needed. Would also work well for a saddle hunt setup if thats what youre into.

No words can truly express the relief of having this tool. Handy, lightweight, and easy to operate.

Prusik hitch $7; Ropeman $45. The Ropeman gets you up a tree faster so you can focus more time on hunting and less time fiddling with your lines. If you want to save a bit then use a Ropeman for your lineman rope and a Prusik for the tether since you won’t adjust it as often. I have Ropemans for both my main lines, and Prusiks on my secondary backup lines. Just remember to use the correct rope diameter. I know 8mm is becoming more popular because it’s more compact, but 8mm will not work safely on a Ropeman 1.
