    This is by far the best umbrella I have ever bought. The handle has a nice solid feel, the framework is well built and sturdy, and the umbrella tip is metal. I love this umbrella so much I look forward to rainy days where I can pull this baby out and stunt on all the other Americans wit their cheap made-in-China compact umbrellas that don’t last more than a month.

    It is slightly bigger/longer then a standard umbrella but smaller then a golf umbrella. Quality is top notch. The engraved logo make this unique. It makes a thud sound when you open it like when you slam a luxury car door. I have not used this yet but will as soon as winter comes around. I purchased this o replace a $50 umbrella which did not even last a season.

    UPDATE: After about three years, it stopped holding itself closed. I just kept using it nonetheless, just wrapping the Velcro band around it to hold it closed. It still worked well when it was open...no complaints with that function. Im not sure - should I expect more than 3-4 years of flawless operation? Anyway Im debating whether to order another one.

    This looks like exactly what I was looking for. The only concern I have so far is that the very tip is smooth metal and is very slippery on hard flat surfaces. If used as a cane on certain floors it slips instantly.
