Greater than one weekNot sure where Winsor & Newton oils rank in the world of professional oil paints, but I can tell you that they work well for my needs. The paints are almost blended perfectly. Rarely do I have to use a thickening or thinning agent as they just seem balanced almost perfectly. Not too hard, not too thin. I have ordered several colors and continue to come back to this name brand when I need different ones, or even reorders. To me, you cant go wrong with this name brand.

> 3 dayI originally went cheap and bought a 3rd party brand for water mixable oil paint and it would not mix together cohesively with other colors. Winsor and Newton work really well when mixing it with other colors.

> 3 dayI have been using these paints for about 8 years. I find them to be very green no harsh chemicals or bad fumes ever. I teach painting to senior citizens and always recommend this product because of the green elements Clean up is a breeze using water and soap . I also use water for my medium and it helps to dry quicker.

Greater than one weekCadmium yellow medium is an orange family color, not yellow. Only cadmium yellow light is true yellow. This sold as a yellow HUE is a misnomer and no where does it tell you its really the medium which is really very much toward orange. You cannot mix this with blues to get a decent green, like yellow should provide. Also, it is not usable as yellow in any application. There is no way to tell this from the color chart nor box top. I now have a 200 ml tube I can only use as orange, which I uses a lot less of than yellow so a waste of money for me.

> 3 dayPerfect. I have a small space to work in that is not ventilated enough to use regular oils. I use only non-toxic pigment water miscible paints. Some colors use pigment that is toxic. I don’t use those colors which also come in this paint. I researched toxicity of oil paints before buying. The color is excellent. The texture wonderful to work with. They are true artist oils. I mix them with a safe nontoxic oil medium. It is not recommended to mix them with water because it dulls the colors somewhat.
