Its a nice palette of colors to work with and they mix well with each other. They are heavily pigmented and transparent. Although they are not professional grade, they seem to be very close. I am very pleased with blending and lifting of these colors. I dont know why anyone wouldnt be pleased with these watercolors. The flow characteristics works best with High quality paper. I recommend Arches...

I liked the 12 color set, but recently ordered the 45 color set. I am aggravated! The description states that contains duplicates of the most popular colors and this is NOT TRUE. This set contains two each of ZINC WHITE, IVORY BLACK and YELLOW OCHRE! This supposedly 45 color set contains THREE BLACKS! White is rarely used in watercolor, and black is not frequently used. The company is adding cheap repeats and charging the same price as former sets with more usable colors. Dont waste your money if you expect 45 colors!
