> 3 dayThe colors are beautiful, but the paint is very grainy- so that was a deal breaker. The package itself is very poorly designed. The lid never seems secure, the paint falls out with any movement, so I am not sure it is convenient for traveling.

> 3 dayLoved it! Very portable and easy to carry around. The colors come out pretty vibrant as well, and are easy to mix/delude to your liking. Perfect for an artist who likes to bring their supplies on the go.

> 3 dayI wanted to try Winsor and Newton Cotman for a good while before I found this pallet. Im sure it is worth 5 stars but it is lacking something for me. Unfortunately, I have not figured out what yet! I find that I am gravitating back to other brands that I have had for awhile. It may just be that I am familiar with them and thus more comfortable. Maybe it is the color selection. The jury is out. The value is outstanding so dont let my lack of that 5th star stop you from trying this set. It is perfect for a travel pallet.

> 3 dayIm just starting to experiment with different mediums, so this is by no means an expert opinion. I just wanted something affordable and portable I could play with and so far this is perfect for my needs.

> 3 dayIve had one other travel kit of watercolors which I lost and which was better designed than this one (made by Koi). I decided to try the W&N. The lid of the W&N touches the top of the color blocks and if you close it while the blocks are wet, which one might do while traveling, the blocks stick to the inside of the lid and have to be peeled off. Im a beginner watercolorist so I cant comment on the color selection or quality yet. They seem decent enough, and had they raised the lid a millimeter or so, I would be perfectly happy with the box.

> 3 dayAfter using my friends Winsor and Newton watercolours, I immediantly set off to by my own. Overall, I was quite pleased with the product as I found the colours were mixable and pigmented. The size of the box is really nice for travelling as well. The brush was as I expected it to be - okay. It doesnt work as well as my pentel aquash but still applies paint to paper, which is what it was made to do. I personally enjoyed the colour selection (sorry for my bad swatches) but I do wish that they swapped out alizarin crimson hue for a brighter red shade. The worst thing about the product is just that about half the paints came out of their pans so better glue would be better. However, I am still pleased with the product!

> 3 dayThis is so convenient that I didnt have to buy another brush just to use this product. I recommend to all the beginners if you wanted to test out the watercolor drawing.

Greater than one weekthe box is really portable. the pigments seem a little light and it takes a lot of layers / very little water to get dark colors for some of them. the pans of color themselves vary in size and have a habit of falling out when the box gets turned around until you use it for a little bit. all of these issues are whatever for me personally because im just playing around and its an affordable set for that ($15). however, my big issue is with the brush pen. the pen dispenses a lot of water and it makes it hard to work with as it makes your paper very, very wet unless you dab a lot / use another brush. also, my brush pen has its bristles retract into the brush. theres a little plastic bit that i imagine is supposed to keep the bristles in place, but its loose and flopping around inside the tip and as far as i know theres no way for me to fix it.
