This came exactly as I had hoped! I purchased it for a pregnancy announcement photo but intend to keep it for when the baby actually arrives. The wood is so smooth and I love the color- just as described! Great purchase!

I wanted to like this being wood and not plastic and all. However my baby has no interest in it and it’s rather awkward to grasp for little hands.

Perfect unique gift for loved ones with newborns. Have sent it twice now (just ordered a third) and new parents love it!!

My baby loved this. Not sure if it’s noted in the description or not, but the straight rod in the middle is the only part that appears to be made of walnut. It’s beautiful though. He loves to play with it, and it’s great for teething. Very happy with this purchase.

This rattle is so cute! I really love it! The only thing that was kind of weird about it is that I set it on a stack of papers and then the next time I picked it up, it left a big oil stain on the paper.. so strange! The wood is nice and soft and didnt feel oily though.. but it must have just sept through. I would be careful to have it on a blanket or clothing that it might leave an oil stain!

A little hard for younger infants to hold; can be clumsy, but once they grip; they love it.
