Rachel Starr Thomson creates amazing worlds; Ive enjoyed each book of hers Ive read to date, and this is no exception. Bought it a while back, then splurged this week and purchased the entire series plus another series shes created. This is the second time Ive read this novel. The author draws us quickly into a world where the forgotten is becoming known once more, and the unseen becoming clear - to some, at least. A very enjoyable alt medieval universe, good vs evil tale. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series!

With this book it takes you into a world outside of the norm. The way you read the book it takes you into your own world. The words that are written can be taken and applied to all. Love how all the characters come together in some way in the end. Good read

WOW! I was a bit leery when I first started this book, but it grabbed me and didnt let me down. I was thinking that I wouldnt like the fantasy aspect, but I was able to relate to it as it represents a lot of what goes on in our spiritual lives.

As a student of Gods word, I love the symbolism of each character. Ms. Thomas writes with such imagination and detail, you can see her world. I look forward to the next book!

I was so impressed by the plot-line and characters in this series of books, of which this one is the first. All three of them kept me up late reading and reading to see what happened next. The allegorical references were subtle, but very powerful. I highly recommend this book and its sequels. I am thrilled to have found them!

Enjoyed the book! I was captured within the pages of this book and went on an adventure I could not come out of until I read the last words of the book, The End! I dont even have words for how this book took me on this fantastic journey, but I will be thinking about it for many days. I highly recommend Worlds Unseen.

Recently, I have been really enjoying epic fantasy, grand in scope and packed with descriptive details. Other works have left me feeling less than involved in the story and rather shallow. I have also had less time to devote to reading than I could wish. Upon starting this book, those two facts kept me wondering if this would be another shallow quick read. That definitely was not the case. The story grabbed me, and I found myself looking for ways to create reading time. It swept me along and kept me wondering what was next, without being confusing. At times, I could wish more detail to better envision the world around the characters, but my epic desires can be sated elsewhere. This is intriguing just the way its written. I also tend to prefer true sword & sorcery fantasy without modern elements to it. Though the technology here included some recent developments (i.e. trains), it was interesting rather than distracting. As for being religious fantasy, I found hints and suggestions of truth and beauty throughout. However, I look forward to seeing if future episodes of the trilogy have a bolder approach towards a true witness. Overall, a great read that inspired me to purchase the rest of the trilogy. This title is frequently on the free list, where I picked it up, and I definitely believe you wont be disappointed to try it.

I had just read a book that was interesting but wasn’t very well written, so after I finished that book I really wanted to find a series that I could really appreciate, and this book series was it. I have read this book and I’m in the process of reading the second book, and by what I have written so far it is much better written then the book I mentioned before, the storyline is also very interesting and creative. I am very glad that I found and read these books and look forward to reading the rest of the series. Thank you Rachel for a clean and wonderful read.
