> 24 hourI’ve used the traditional heat lamps in the past that put out a lot of light when their on. I like these that there isn’t any light when their putting out heat. I’ll be using these under my hummingbird feeders to keep the hummingbirds fluid from freezing in the cold weather next winter. Have used regular 100 watt light bulbs in the past for this purpose. But I am expecting these heat lamps to be a much better bulb to keep my hummingbird feeders warm enough to keep their food water from freezing I’m hoping? Don’t know how long these will last yet either? Hopefully they hold up a long time?

> 24 hourFranks previous ceramic bulb had a swiffer incident. Apparently a split second is all it takes for a room to smell like burnt plastic... Anyways, trauma in the past, he is now enjoying the warmth and comfort of his new ceramic bulb. So far its working great and providing the adequate heat that he needs to sleep his regular 18hrs a day, eat for an hour, wreck havoc, and take a few naps in between. As far as owner feedback, this was a great deal for two bulbs! Now I have a handy extra in case one of my other bulbs goes out or someone else gets a bit too close with the swiffer. The extra thermometer is a nice touch too. Its nice to have backups.

> 24 hourThese burn out quickly, but so do the expensive ones. So these are a solid buy for anyone who has reptiles that need nighttime heat.

> 24 hourI used this product for a few of my reptiles who absolutely love the new addition to their tank! I was able to get it at a low price but amazing quality. they didn’t need a high wattage and these were perfect! definitely recommend this product to anyone that has use for it!

> 24 hourThe units worked as advertised. I had never used ceramic heaters before and wasnt sure if they would run hotter than incandescent heat lamps since part of the energy doesnt produce visible visible light like the incandescent bulbs. There doesnt seem to be any significant difference. You can just treat the wattages as equivalent. The surface area does matter. Consider the watts per square inch when substituting for incandescent bulbs.

> 24 hourOne bulb crapped out after only 5 weeks of moderate use - return window closed 1 week prior. The other bulb is working fine. Frustrating, I paid $11 for one bulb, not what I had wanted to do. And my faith in it is less now. I wouldnt order these again.

> 24 hourThe ceramic heat provides heat for the bearded dragon without the light at night and heats the hot side of the tank up during the day to 105 which is perfect for my baby bearded dragon. The thermometer included was a great addition so I can monitor the cold side of the tank as well.
