> 24 hourWe used these to replace the red night lamps for our bearded dragon. While they use the same amount of electricity, they last longer both because they are more robust and they are not turned on and off daily. Instead, they are on 24/7. Our lizards behavior changed: before, he would stay awake for an hour or more after the night lights came on; now, he goes right to sleep. Also, since we were not switching 200 watts twice a day we could use a simpler (and cheaper) timer for the UVB bulb. The only difficulty we have had with these is confirming that they are on. (Touching the shield was a problem because it was so easy to burn your hand.) When we traveled with our lizard we once found that they were off -- not because the switches were off, but because the plug had been bumped. So we found a solution: The HOT Color Changing Vinyl, Red to Yellow (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HVZL8GV) changes color at 105 degrees Fahrenheit. We stuck a small piece on each of the light shields and its easy to notice that they are still yellow. As 3 12x12 sheets is a lot to buy to get less than a square inch, perhaps the seller will read this, raise the price by a dime, and include a small piece with each heater.

> 24 hourOne bulb crapped out after only 5 weeks of moderate use - return window closed 1 week prior. The other bulb is working fine. Frustrating, I paid $11 for one bulb, not what I had wanted to do. And my faith in it is less now. I wouldnt order these again.

> 24 hourSo far so good. Only thing is the thermometer is for an aquarium . I have only tried one of the heat lamps so hopefully the other one is good also .

> 24 hourThese burn out quickly, but so do the expensive ones. So these are a solid buy for anyone who has reptiles that need nighttime heat.
