Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect has died after much less than 3 months use. Product was ordered on April 20, 2012. What a bust. What is the manufacturer warranty period? I discovered while preparing the console for delivery to Microsoft for service that the console had originally arrived without the hard drive component in the unit. I had only once before today turned on the console with the Kinect DVD inserted and did not go through the formal set-up process. I wanted to make sure that the unit powered up. It did. I did not realize that the key hard disc drive was missing.

While you do get wifi,kinect and the redesigned slimbox if you have plans to download much of anything even pac man youll need the 250GB HDD so after your purchase you can head over to gamestop and buy the NEEDED HDD @ $129.99+tax=$145. Or you could just get the complete system @$399 saving around $50 and as an added bonus out of the box ready for reach and black ops. Microsoft should be required to enblazon each 4GB system with a sticker that lists the unplayable games and the reason-LACK OF MEMORY...so do yourselves a favor and get the complete 360 now so you dont need to hit gamestop later.

It took a while for me to receive my xbox w/kinect but it was worth the wait. I bought dance central 2 to play and I love it. The product was new and sold at a good price.

it was a prompt delivery,and was as advertised.i dont give it 5 stars because it is a christmas gift and i will not know that it works for sure until dec 25.

This is my first video game console purchase so I have nothing to compare this against. I received this today (thanks to amazon release date delivery) and spent 45 minutes playing. I am extremely pleased how lag free the experience is. Amazing technology but the games included are geared towards casual/family gamers. This thing got potential so I am looking forward for great game softwares. You will need 6ft of open space for single player and 8ft for dual player. It only recognized 2 out of 3 players in the adventures game.

I had a Wii system sitting around gathering dust.... I heard that the Xbox was a much more user friendly system. Im still trying out the system. Using this Xbox to stream Netfilx content is SO EASY.... Just for that feature alone it is worth the purchace price.

I love it, but dont get to use it very often because of limited space. You definitely need a large space to move your arms and to have two players playing.
