Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect

We received the xbox 360 and the power source did not work. Contacted the seller. No response. I ordered a new power source it’s and it is working now. Disappointed that we had to pay more money and the seller would.not respond to is to make this right.

I know I will love it when I have instructions on how to use it. This came with Kinect Adventures which I can only get one River Rush to come up and then it stops with an error message that the DVD may be dirty. I have Dance Central but cannot go through the songs. This did not come with an instruction manual, and I am a 62 year young grandma who bought this to play with the grandkids. I have no idea how to proceed. It is hooked up correctly, but I dont know the basic instructions on how it works and how to get from game to game and song to song, etc. Mostly am yelling Xbox at the screen and waving my hands. NEED DIRECTIONS FOR THIS! I have spent hours on the internet searching but to no avail. HELP! Susan Olsen

Thats what I did, and it was well worth it. We are NOT serious gamers. Four kids (7yr,5yr,3yr,1yr) and this is much better than the Wii for small kids. The 3yo is able to play many of the games and is having a blast. And the rest of us are getting a great workout! And having a blast! HD quality is a great improvement over the Wii and although the number of games is limited right now, I believe the technology is very solid and responsive. For now Id say Kinect sports is all you need for many hours of fun with small children. The Kinectimals game is pretty lame. The dance game has a great interface, but not really for small kids. I was happy to sell the Wii now and get some decent cash back. Let it go now while its worth something. This is the future of gaming.....at least for the recreaction users like us.

Aside from the fact that 1star is the minimum, i must admit the shipping was incredibly fast. Buuuuut...once I opened the game system the controller was missing as well as the free included game. I emailed them and about a week later received an email saying I could ship it back for a refund but for a $25 shipping charge I stupidly went against my instinct and just went to Walmart to buy a controller and games Id actually play. I get home, connect the system and literally 15minutes into setting it up it powers off and the power button turns red. I google it and results say that either the game is worn out and needs to be completely cleaned or its just too old to work. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! Because of this crummy experience I am very careful of what I buy on Amazon. HORRIBLE

Our kids have had an older xbox 360, but wanted a new one with Kinect. Found a great deal on Amazon after we failed at Walmart Black Friday sale. The kids have been having a blast and it gets them up and off the couch! We did have to move the coffee table as you have to have quite a bit of room...oh well. We for now only have the game that came with it, but Im sure the other ones will be fun too.

This is the second xbox we have for our house. I purchased it mainly for our bedroom to use as a second console and for other functions such as netflix streaming and the up coming HBO GO apps. The newest update allows us to sign in on either xbox without downloading my profile every time and allows us to save games to the cloud so that we can pick up the game on either console where we left off. I wanted to connect the kinect to my older xbox downstairs. Since this is a bundle, it did not come with the adapter needed for this and I had to buy separately. It was fairly inexpensive. If you buy the kinect alone instead of as a bundle, it comes with the adapter.
