They wont make a garage door silent but the noise level does decrease a tad. More importantly then the noise level is the quality, these are very well crafted. I expect these will be the last we will ever need.

If you know how to remove and replace garage door rollers and have the proper tools this is a worthwhile project.

There was a youtube video that was straightforward on installing. Our garage door repairman was going to charge me $100 for the service. The nylon roller and deluxe bearing has now given us the quietest garage door on the block.

The rollers were exactly what I was looking for in noise cancellation. They were are easy to install and have worked perfectly so far. Great buy for a decent price.

These are better than the white rollers that are on sale through Amazon. The original set I purchased half of the rollers were crooked/bent. They installed easily. All I did was unbolt 1 hinge at a time to replace the roller. No need to bend the track.

There are many YouTube videos showing installation options. Rather than remove side tracks, I chose to remove each bracket (except bottom bracket, with cable attached - DANGER). For bottom bracket, I bent the inside top part of each side bracket using Vice grips, slid the door over (as shown on many YouTube videos), and popped them out/in easily. Then bent the brackets back. Took about 30-40 minutes total for all twelve rollers. Worked perfectly and theres a significant reduction in noise over the original metal rollers.
