> 3 dayHad a garage door technician install them. He was impressed and said they were better than the kit of rollers his company sells for $120.

> 3 dayIm not sure about the noise level. I installed these hoping to eliminate a noise that seemed to be happening by the old bearings dragging on the track. The noise disappeared on the close of the door, but with the opening of the door, it still is there. I dont know if it is tied to the bearings, the actual opener, or the spring.

> 3 dayThese rollers very significantly quieted down the noise of my garage door. Nearly the only noise I hear now is the opener motor running! Only caution about installation is the lowest roller also holds the tension cable, so be prepared!

> 3 dayI used these rollers to easily replace the steel with exposed bearings rollers on our 32-year old, 16 x 7 garage door. Having sealed bearings, these new rollers should be low or no maintenance. These operate more smoothly than the original steel rollers ever did, their longevity remains to be seen. Still, because the garage door operating noise level is produced mainly by the hinges and the steel door itself, these bearings have no noticeable noise reducing effect. As a side note, I used to use lithium grease, as was often recommended, for the roller bearings, the door hinges, the torsion spring and the top of the chain rail. Over time, this became a very messy lube to use; it was difficult/impossible to adequately clean off the built-up, gunky accumulations. Ive switched to a silicon based, designated garage door lubricant thats easier to use and it doesnt leave an unsightly gunky mess to deal with; well see.
