> 3 dayThis keyboard works, is already nice stock, and I personalized it to my preference by replacing the Gateron Blue with Kailh BOX Jade, and the stock OEM shimethru keycaps with XDA Manekineko keycap set. I read a review that apparently, due to the hotswap nature, the keys and keyswitches fall out of the board if you flip it upside down- this does not at all happen for me. If anything, the keyswitches are to me quite firmly in there- there are some little recesses in the acrylic for the keyswitch hooks to fit into. I suspect the other reviewer may have improperly installed their switches, or used very worn out or misshapen switches. I saw in another reviewer complain the boards plastic case is flimsy and will flex if you twist it. It does flex a little when I twist it but thats such a weird and deliberate action- the cases slight flex is just not an issue at all for daily typing and use. Maybe this is a problem if you bring your keyboard with you in a flexible bag? But I feel the reports of this keyboard being too flexible are very exaggerated. I noticed the stock images show different keycap fonts on the keycaps. I attached a pic of my stock keycaps to show the font used on the version I received in Feb 2021. It is a much cleaner font than the kind of ugly font you see on most cheap shinethrough keycaps.

> 3 dayI love my keyboard—it’s an amazing keyboard for people who are starting out in the keyboard hobby. I got it with gateron yellows and the stock switches are so smooth and thocky, it’s unreal. I might never go back to clicky/blue switches ever again. The stabs came factory lubed, but like the reviews have said, they were very rattle-y, but with some clipping and taping, they weren’t half bad! What WAS bad, were the keycap and switch pullers that came with them. I struggled so much with changing my keycaps, but luckily, i have another keycap puller. I bought some krytox 205g0 to lube the stabs and switches with, and I dread using the switch puller because it’s such a nightmare. If you choose to buy this keyboard, just buy a separate keycap/switch puller and save yourself the migraines. Also, the rubber feet at the bottom were uneven so it left the keyboard wobbling very often. This can be fixed but it’s kinda annoying. All in all though, i’m still thoroughly pleased and very happy with what I got for the amount I paid!

> 3 dayThe customization is awesome! I changed the switches and added some artisan keycaps to mine. Its so cute! I love it. I love how you can change the colors so easily and the different combinations are mesmerizing.

> 3 dayThe F1 key LED doesnt light up on the one I received. Adjusting the lighting is not straight forward as it should be. After digging online I found the software and was able to customize it with a per key lighting setting instead of global built in effects. I took one star off mostly for the key that would not light. Otherwise for the price this is good for a decent keyboard that is among the brightest available. Keys are quiet with a soft touch.

18-11-2024My niece has been eyeing this keyboard for a long while and after her previous keyboard went through some problems I wanted to surprise her. Upon its arrival, I noticed how good quality the keyboard was. Has a thick base and it’s a good size. I have a ducky myself keyboard and this is honestly good for its value. I loved how instantly the RGB lights shined through the key caps and around the base. In the instructional manual, you can find a guide in changing the colors whether it be changing the color rhythm or changing it to a solid color. What I loved the most is that it wasn’t too loud and is precise.

> 3 dayI really wanted to start looking for a nice keyboard that I can play with the switches and keycaps easily and this was was a great price for a keyboard thats fully customizable! Obviously, it isnt the best but you really cant argue with the price while others are always around 100+

> 3 dayMy 11 year old daughter spent her birthday money to buy this keyboard. It looked/felt/typed great for about 7 months and then the lights just stopped working for the keys. Weve tried everything but cant get the key lights working again, though the lights around the border still work. Loved it while it worked but now is just a regular keyboard for an expensive price that cant be used in low light settings. UPDATE: The XVX shop didnt have any hints nor did we see how to contact them, but reading the questions under the product we learned that FN + The backspace key for 5-7 does a factory reset, which caused the lights to start working again.

> 3 dayMine has yellow switches- which I do regret choosing only because they’re too soft for me and I end up pushing keys i did not mean to when playing games. But other than that it sounds decent and I haven’t had any issues with the lights. 2 of the keys do not work but that most likely is because I bought a used one instead of brand new,it did not state that the keys did not work only said “like new” so just beware of that if you are buying a used one. Overall it’s worth it for a first keyboard and nice if you wanna practice modding on a cheaper board.

> 3 dayContext: This is my second mechanical keyboard and I bought the K87 for my Macbook. Overall, it feels great and I can tell its made with great quality. The display is so vibrant and bright and its overall just a great value keyboard. I gave this keyboard 4 stars for two reasons: the lacking software and the switch puller. Like many mechanical keyboard brands, this one does not have have software for the Macbook. The company however took the time to program the keyboard with keystrokes that allow macbook users to cycle through different light patterns and colors (this surprised me since my prior keyboard did not have the option). It was really easy to see the different patterns so this actually wasnt as huge of a loss as expected. They include tools to remove keycaps and switches, however the tool for removing the switch is poorly made. The prongs arent long enough to actually attach to the tabs attached to the switches, meaning more force is needed to pull switches, making it a little more tedious if you wanted to replace any switches. I ended up breaking the tab of one of the switches while customizing it. These are only two small gripes and even if I had known this would be the case prior to purchasing, Id still buy this keyboard again. Not a lot of mechanical and gaming keyboards are made with MacOS in mind, and this one gives an alternative way to still enjoy the keyboards full value.
