Y Team Controller Adapter for Gamecube, Compatible with Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros Switch Gamecube Adapter for WII U/PC with 4 Port

The adapter worked fine on Super Smash Bros(Wii U). O my buy this if you really really want to play with GameCube controller on SSB Wii U. IT DOESNT WORK FOR ANY OTHER GAME. Other than that its an awesome thing for pro players or older players who played with GameCube controller on the SSB Wii.

I tried this on switch and on dolphin, and neither of them work. The switch page on instruction manual had no instructions, so there was a lot of confusion setting it up. Dolphin listed the adapter as a connected controller, but didnt let me map any of the buttons, making it unusable.

I love this device! It hooks up to my switch docked no prob and uses all of my official and unofficial gamecube controllers. Would get again if someone at a smash tournament steals it (I hope that does not happen).

Works for dolphin emulator. Under gamecube controller select standard controller then configure. Then 4 GameCube controllers should be under devices.

Bought this for my son who wanted to hook up an old Nintendo Gamecube to his monitor. Item worked perfectly no issues. Best of all my boy can enjoy the Gamecube games my older son played.

I currently bought the product, but I am having issues with a bit of lag. I am unsure if it is the adaptor or the controllers I bought alongside on Amazon. Everything seems to work fine, but whenever I press the “A” key on the GameCube controller i recently bought there is a small lag. I think it isn’t the adaptor; that works fine (so far I can tell!)

This was a great investment. It gave my kids the ability to use old game cube controllers with the switch There are a few issues if you are going to use a GC controller with the switch such as no zl button but thats a mild price to pay. Super happy with this.
