> 24 hourHigh quality product for those times when you need immediate backup power - without either the time or energy to recharge. Plug in 3 AA batteries and you are set. Lithium works best for deep drain.

> 24 hourYaesu is as good as it gets! I have a FT5DR. I bought the fast charger base unit that the charge cord plugs into. With the base unit the radio charges in half the time as using just the wall cord. With this battery box three AA batteries you can get up to almost 12 hours of radio use. Awesome. Using GPS and other features of the radio requires power and the price of this authentic, Yaesu accessory, you have power! Get it and you wont be disappointed.

> 24 hourExcellent 3 AA Cell case for my new Yaesu FT-2DR. Now I can use high capacity Panasonic Pro eNeloop cells as a backup. Or as the primary with the factory as a backup. Excellent original product

> 24 hourTypical Yaesu quality. As another reviewer mentioned, it does appear to be at least water resistant, so you dont lost that feature of the radio just because you ran out of Lithium battery packs. Itd be a sad state of affairs to be transmitting at a whopping 0.8 watts (as is the case of the FT1XD when running on this battery pack) but for monitoring, short range simplex, or strong repeater work, itd most definitely do the job when your 2200mAh packs run out. I almost didnt get one for this radio (the FT1XD wasnt cheap, nor were the plethora of other accessories I had already added to it) but being the only radio without a AA pack, it was nagging at me. Better to have and not need...
