Great for towing but dont put too much pressure on it as it can get stuck. Just touch it to the back of the motor as it will support without putting too much pressure on it. One large drawback ...it doesnt float so be sure to remove it before you back into the water as you dont want to loose it !

This made it faster to use and install. Was used on my outboard Yamaha 115hp .

Works well, but does allow outboard to swing to one side while driving.

I have a 150HP Yamaha out board on my Robalo R180 and this motor support works well to use while trailering.

I have had this for about a year now. Part of the outside rubber has chipped but it has done the job of supporting motor. Not sure if it is really needed but I do feel better on long trips having it

There are no rise units that this product can slide over on the newer models. Thus leaving this product useless I dont like to give out a one star review but when the company is non responsive to your request for a return it leaves you no other choice. Updated even though their product will not fit my engine and their website says it will they want to charge a restocking fee I just threw it in the trash and left the one star. As an added note a standard transom saver is just as easy to put on as any of these quick-fix deals that really dont support like they should. The weight of your engine over large bumps in the road should be thrust down to your trailer not your transom or engine components. Standard transom savers are centered proportionately for weight distribution eliminating the motor turning with the steering column or having to purchase an additional lock to eliminate the left right
