YAXI EARPADS for Koss PORTAPRO (Orange)

Just in case anyone is wondering: these work as a decent replacement for the stock SportaPro earpads as well.

I received the set way sooner than expected and it came with some cool extras. The full kit has a large poster and several smaller prints. I love how they look but I haven’t decided what to do with them yet. The pads are nice and soft, much softer than the ksc75 or kph30i pads. I haven’t gotten around to installing the pads, though, because I can’t decide what colors to use. Also I’m due for another set of ksc75’s and hate the idea of ripping out my kph30i pads but I have remind myself it’ll be worth it. I just don’t want to break a second pair of them and have wasted a couple yaxi pads.

Easy upgrade for the porta pros that makes them sound better and more comfortable.

I bought these because I love my KPH40s, but I felt that the ear pads were a little small. These fit the headphones great and drastically increase their comfort.

These replacement pads are sensational! So much thicker than the Koss originals, and far more comfortable to wear. The original pads are so thin that they used to hurt my ears, but these Yaxi replacements are amazing. The sound quality has improved too. The bigger, thicker pad seems to direct more of the sound to my ears, whereas with the smaller Koss pad the sound was being lost outside the driver. And damn, they look so funky! Only downside is they are quite expensive - AU$18 for a single pair.

Thicker compared to stock ones and more comfortable. Doesnt affect the audio quality much. With these on the temporal pads dont contact your head, the weight is carried on your ears.
