YAXI EARPADS for Koss PORTAPRO (Orange)

PORTAPRO本体に付いていたパッドが裂けてきたので購入しました。商品画像にはなかったですが、パープルも選べます。

I didnt realize how cheap the foam pads on my Koss PortaPro headphones were until I removed them and installed the Yaxi earpads. The Yaxi earpads are much thicker, uses a denser foam and just looks and feel higher quality. Installation was fairly simple, but you have to be careful pulling off the old earpads from the spikes that hold them in place as you can easily damage the earpads pulling them off.

If youre in love with your Porta Pros, you do want these. They are just a big larger than the originals but definitely more comfy. I like em.

First off let me say, I thought the other reviews claiming it improved sound were total Bull. But it really did. The lower frequencies were made crisp and voices sound clearer somehow.

I was under the impression the single packs came with a poster too, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Only the double or 6 pack. The pads themselves are pretty nice, thicker and comfier than the stock. However, I dont think they are worth the price at all. It isnt any sort of special foam, its literally just foam pads. Seems overhyped to me.

They feel way more comfortable than the stock pads + they look way nicer. Also arrived in like 3 days from Japan which was crazy (YMMV).

Unfortunately the vibrant colors statement needs to be nixed. They fade QUICKLY, within a couple of months. Comfort is still great, but I cant recommend getting any color other than black.
