Yeowww! 100% Organic Catnip Toy, Yellow Banana 3 Pack

The boys lost interest quickly but it isnt because of the structural integrity or smell of the toy. Its just how my cats are. When they like it, the exercise is pretty epic.

I would have given this 5 stars as our cat loves these and this is his 3rd or 4th. However, I am hesitant to give him the banana as the glue from the label has left a sticky residue which I doubt is good for my cat. Yeowww! Please use something other than glue on these. Cats chewy on these and glue cant be tasty or good for them.

Both of my cats love this toy. My boys are very ruff on their catnip toys and these can stand up to them and last a long time. My boys like to lick them and then bunny kick the heck of them. Once the licking leads to the bananas turning green from the catnip I toss them and give them new ones. I always have a back stock of them on hand.

My three cats all loved these bananas, and since it came in a three pack there was no fighting over who got to play with it. The only drawback is that, despite them being made of very heavy canvas one of the cats (I suspect the Maine Coon) has left some serious bite holes clean through them, and theyve started leaking catnip flakes all over the floors. Oh, and there is one other drawback... they come unwrapped. This means that anything else shipped with them will forever be catnip scented. In my case that turned out to be a couple of pounds of gourmet popcorn kernels that had to be thrown away. These really need to be packaged in airtight containers or bags, to avoid contamination of other items they might ship with.

Our cats absolutely LOVE these bananas. They hold up better than most catnip toys, and we put the extra catnip in a jar and reseal these up to recharge them. We have a ton of these and the cats never get tired of them.

I read a review where they said they put the bag on the table and forgot about it and kitty took care of opening the bag for them. Awwww that’s cute! I put the bag of nanas in my daily carry bag and set it on the sofa and promptly got our dinner and went to eat said dinner with my honey. Kitty walked away, no biggie. We watch a little tv and decide to go to the living room and I was greeted by a crime scene. The bag of nanas was on the floor and shredded like someone put it in a paper shredder. 3 bananas in various stages of death on the floor. Stickers chewed up, tags chewed up, and bananas with puncture wounds everywhere. One poor nana had its guts everywhere. The tip was chewed off and it also had a hole along the seam on the other end. Nip everywhere! Sprinkles!!!! Kitty sat there asking why did we not tell her about the nanas. I forgot! She found them. I promptly found a little sewing kit and proceeded to do surgery on the poor banana. The best one was put away for later but the other 2 will remain. I wasn’t thanked for sewing it back up but she took it away and walked off. I’m sure by morning I’ll have a hung over kitty and nana guts all over the floor and sofa and who knows where. Kitty loved it, I do not. She was able to chew a full 1” tip off and open a seam. The denim or fabric has punctures all over letting more nip out. I’m not impressed with the durability. If it was only 1, it would be in shreds within an hour, fully destroyed. I’m not holding out hope for the 2 overnight. So, no lasting enjoyment, no durability, no sturdiness. Bad bad bad. Maybe if yours doesn’t chew it might be ok? This is not for our family.

Our cats dont care for loose catnip but they tear into these things. I always keep 2 around on the house. Store extras in the freezer.

Our cats went crazy for the banana! They rubbed their faces on it, rabbit-kicked it, licked it.. they absolutely love it! And it doesnt get old, either. They still drag the banana around the house and play with it even weeks after we got them. What a great treat and fun toy for our kitties!
