> 24 hourI was a skeptic about Yeti coolers for a long time thinking they couldnt be worth the money. But, when fortunate enough to have some extra money when planning for an 8-day camping trip I decided to buy a couple Yeti coolers (125 and 65). We were gone for 8 days and still had solid ice left at the end of the trip. I will say that the weather was mild (lows of around 43 most nights and highs of only 73 during the week), so that probably played a role in it. I cant speak for long stretches of warm/hot weather at this point. We did season the coolers with ice the night before and then I placed three blocks of ice in the bottom, spread some cubed iced over the top, and then filled with food. One of the coolers we used as a beverage cooler so I spread more cubed ice over the drinks once it was filled up. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food/drinks it can hold as I thought the thickness would mean I couldnt hold much. It held all the perishable food items and drinks necessary to get a family of four through 8 days. When we broke down camp there was water in the bottom as expected, but I would guess that at least 80% of the block ice was still there.

> 24 hourI could have bought a cheaper brand of cooler and had better results, we bought this to go camping with and after 2 days all the ice is ice water. Friends of ours have the same cooler and have no problems, so I don’t know what the problem is with this one but i’m Very disappointed in mine.

> 24 hourThis thing is incredible. Ice up to 10 days has happened! All these negative reviews have me laughing. Hey guys, it says in the directions that came with the thing to prechill your cooler. Here is a quote from yeti. START WITH A CHILLED COOLER If stored in warm places, a significant amount of ice will be wasted cooling the cooler itself. Preload your cooler a few hours prior to use with a sacrificial bag of ice to cool it down or store it in a cool place before loading it up. This thing is insulated so well that it will trap the heat inside after its been in the garage or car. MAKE SURE YOU PRE COOL IT BEFORE YOU SAY IT IS CRAP. Rant over. I feel much better.

> 24 hourI have no clue what the other reviewer is talking about - this is a one piece, roto-molded bear-proof cooler made from the same material as competition quality kayaks. Yeti has patented their own technology - pressure-injected insulation uses TWICE the amount as regular coolers. Full body seal and interlock system ensure your items stay COLD! My friend has one of these - if you throw down some foil, pack it with dry ice and frozen ice water, and allow the cooler to get cold overnight BEFORE you pack it weve found you can keep food frosty for 7-10 days. Try THAT in a Coleman brand stainless steel or cheap-o Wal Mart clearance cooler. I would recommend this for hunters, fisherman, avid car campers & hikers, survivalists and preppers. You can throw it on the back of your ATV or tow it from a bicycle - at 27 lbs. backpackers should look elsewhere.

> 24 hourColor was perfect! It was everything it should be. Very sturdy and works great. Just a little heavy to load and unload for me but my son has no problems. It was a wonderful gift!
