I have several of these for cigar humidor. I have calibrated time and again. Every time I get two to match temp and humidity I then put both in humidor and they are then way off from each others by several points. Huge fluctuations and dies not stay calibrated stable-wise. What is the +- accuracy??? Is it low like +- 4% or????

You can look up the current reading from the always-on LCD panel on the 2.5”x2.25” sensor as well as from the phone app with up to one-hour delay. The phone reading is updated only once an hour. There is no refresh button for force reading the current temp/humidity. If the recent phone display says “Recently update:” 08:00 AM, then that is all you can see on the phone until 08:59 AM. At 09:00 AM, the phone reading is updated to the 09:00 AM reading. The graph reading lags even more. The app graph gets updated with a one-hour lag. E.g. at 8 AM, you see the 7 AM reading on the graph. But, at 8:59 AM, you still see the 7 AM reading. At 9 AM, the graph gets updated with the 8 AM reading. Why one-hour lag? I don’t see the data “refresh” button in the app. There is a “refresh” button on the “Rooms” screen, but that seems only usable for refreshing the list of devices connected to the hub. The graph data logging is only once an hour on the hour and you cannot change it. The app display choices are hourly or daily, and temp or humidity. You would expect to be able to change the range of display time. But no, pinching the screen does not change the magnification. You can only scroll endlessly left or right in fixed scale day or hour mode to see the time span of interest. I am not sure what the app designer was thinking. Like other YoLink devices, the batteries are pre-installed and shipped turned ON! Depending on how long the device sat in the inventory, you can be receiving already or mostly spent batteries only good for immediate recycling. The temp sensor firmware is 0309.

This sensor is affordable, easy to set up an has a incredibly long range including excellent wall and freezer door penetration. Customer service is quick and helpful. I have only one issue, which they have said they will fix in an upcoming release, which is that the alarm can not be used in a freezer scenario. As you see in the photo, all freezers are below temp threshold, so they would alarm continuously. They are reducing the lower limit to address this soon. In the future I hope they offer an even lower cost version without the LCD display which is very nice but useless when inside a freezer or other place I can’t see... I look forward to testing their other sensors soon.

Very easy set up. Allows me to see freezer temp on my phone. After the freezer door was left open twice, this will warn me long before Ive lost food due to thawing! Well worth the investment!

I have lots of yolink devices these are great but I have a cheap phone so had to copy and make code darker and bigger. Then scans fine. Work great with their hub. Fairly cheap. And the product support from the company is one of the best. Plus I like that they are local in Irvine CA.

YoLink Smart Wireless Temperature & Humidity Sensor is really easy to setup. All I have to do is to launch the up, press on set, and scan the QR code.

I bought the temp/humidity sensor to replace an older iHome sensor that I didnt have faith in anymore. The Yolink sensor shows similar readings to the iHome sensor, so maybe I didnt need to buy something new, but I had a great experience using Yolinks motion sensor to turn lights on in a bathroom that doesnt have wall switches so I decided to give another one of their devices a shot. Adding the Yolink sensor to the Yolink app is a breeze - you just scan the QR code and youre on your way. It appears to report the temp and humidity every few minutes (I noticed some older reviews mentioning it only updates once per hour) so that is a pleasant surprise. However, I use Alexa for all of my smart home needs, and this sensor only shows temperature in the Alexa app, and half of the display in the app is cut off. Im disappointed that the sensor doesnt send humidity data to Alexa, which means I cant trigger automations inside Alexa for alerts or turning the basement humidifier on and off outside of a set humidity range. There are only 2 data points that the sensor needs to report, and the fact that it only reports one outside of the native app (and the one I didnt really care about) really bums me out. Ill most likely stick this in the deep freezer in my garage and look for another option from another company for automation of the humidifier. I suppose I could get one of Yolinks smart outlets to handle this automation inside Yolinks app, but not being able to have my Alexa speakers produce a notification and not being able to ask Alexa what the basement humidity is leaves me wanting/expecting more.

This worked great for 9 months. Stopped working. Contacted customer service (I use that term loosely) they gave me the run-around. Did nothing to solve my problem gthey finally sent, and this is true, a message that said, Have a great day. If you get a usnit that wokrs, youre good, but if you dont, sorry.
