> 3 dayThe YoLink temperature sensor is fantastic. We purchased three YoLink temperature sensors. We put one in the freezer, a second in the freezer of the main fridge, and a third in the freezer of the smaller fridge. The devices are rugged, accurate, compact, and even nice looking. Setup was incredibly easy. The app is great. We get phone notifications and emails (depending on my setup) if the temperature or humidity is above or below the range I set. It is particularly helpful if we leave the freezer door slightly open. We purchased these temperature sensors because of their excellent ratings to protect our foods and refrigeration appliances at home. Once, before we had these devices, we were traveling for a couple of weeks, and the fridge stopped working. Because we did not have these temperature sensors then, we did not know until we got home. The food had rotted and stank horribly. The whole house was smelly for days. We cleaned the fridge and had it repaired, but the smell never went away from the fridge, and we had to dispose of the fridge and buy a new one, which was a big expense. Customer service is excellent. We are very pleased with the YoLink temperature sensors. Since purchasing them, we bought other YoLink devices, including leaks sensors and motion sensors, and we like them all.

> 3 dayIve got these temperature sensors scattered about. There are a couple places I worry about freezing in the winter, and its great to have a sensor in my greenhouse. The alarm went off the other day: it was 95 deg out and the temp in the greenhouse reached 105. Got a notification on my phone and went and opened a skylight. Nice to know I have those sensors watching over things! Also interesting to track humidity in my basement, particularly now that Ive added a dehumidifier. The whole system (hub, etc) works great -- really happy with it.

Greater than one weekBought this to monitor the because it had a better range than other options. I needed to monitor the temperature/humidity in a coldfrrame in my garden. It’s down the hill from my house so I wasn’t sure if it would have the range I needed. Just pugged it in and set it in the cold frame. It works great! I think I will buy another for my small greenhouse in the same location!

> 3 dayI was looking for a system to monitor my home while I was away. After doing hours of research I selected the YoLink solution because, for my needs, it offered the best combination of available functionality and simplicity/reliability. The system connects to the internet using a small hub device. The *many* available monitors and sensors connect wirelessly to the hub using LoRa wireless technology, The LoRa wireless operates on a different frequency than home wifi and offers greater range. It easily penetrates walls and floors. All of my monitor/sensor wireless connections located in 3 levels of my home and garage are rock-solid. Setup is unbelievably simple. First install the phone app. Then setup the hub which can be connected to your home network wireless or hard wired. To add devices to the system, simply scan the QR code label on each sensor using the app and it will be added to your homes system. Thats it! I am currently using this for temperature/humidity monitoring, water leak detection and garage door (open-closed) status right out of the box. I havent yet tried programming which can add additional functionality. Using the apps notification features I can get alerts, etc on my phone and even on my Apple watch over the cellular network. I get all of this for a reasonable price. BTW, for video monitoring, I use Blink cameras. Using both systems is not cumbersome or inconvenient.

> 3 dayI had doubts when I ordered this, but it has absolutely been worth it! I bought an upright freezer a couple years ago after our chest freezer failed. The upright does not have any kind of spring or anything at all to help it close, and twice within a few months we lost a lot of food after not noticing that the door was slightly ajar after getting something out. Now the kids and I try to be religious about double checking the door is shut, but this sensor still has come to the rescue 2 or 3 times so far. Ive set it to trigger if the freezer temp gets warmer than 25 - the freezer is set to zero and getting something out bumps it up maybe 10 degrees. It has no issues connecting from inside our freezer in the basement to the hub upstairs and a couple rooms over. The battery life still shows full, and it keeps a log of temperature and humidity over time. Im absolutely thrilled with this product, especially at the price point, and given that the system has other sensors we can use with terrific range.

> 3 dayI confused two products that I bought. Check my Govee review for this YoLink item. I blame Amazon for not having the product brand name on the items to review page … and the icon photos are extremely small! Amazon gets a 2 star on that “service”

> 3 dayEasy wifi setup with hub. Add more in seconds. Very durable and accurate. I use these to monitor my freezers, fridge, and basement humidity. Will buy more as needed.

> 3 dayI already had a Yolink hub, and I added a couple of these to my system to monitor the temperature of my two freezers in the garage. I was skeptical about the signal getting out of a metal box, but it worked fine. In addition to preventing spoilage in the event of a power failure--I had a multi-tap power strip fail not long ago and almost lost a freezer full of food--the temperature monitors revealed that one of my freezers cycles between -2 deg. and -14 deg. I should probably replace that freezer soon since that wide a temperature swing suggests that the thermostat is not working well. I recommend this monitor. I have had good luck with all the Yolink products I have purchased.

> 3 dayMy wife was complaining that the temperature measurement reported by alexa was off. So I moved the sensor to the thermostat to see the difference and the temperature did not change. So I checked yolink app only to see that all devices were reported offline. Two door sensor, three temperature sensors, two garage door sensors, a water spill sensor, and the hub. Well, must be the hub, I thought, so I rebooted it. The hub and one temperature sensor came back. All the rest are still not reporting... UPDATE: So all the devices slowly updated themselves with yolink hub. My fault was that I did not check in the app to be alarmed when yolink hub goes offline. Now it is ON. A bit disturbing that the hub can go bizzerk while I am away and I can do nothing because it requires hard reboot. Otherwise all these units work good and I am glad I bought them. I wish they had more features.
