Temperature device works great. However, I have my existing THERMOSTAT set to reduce the temperature to 71 degrees Fahrenheit ONLY during sleeping time at night. So I would need to have EITHER 2 different TIMES OF THE DAY and TWO different Temperature settings; One for the day time when I dont need that room at 71 degrees Fahrenheit and one for sleeping time at night when I DO keep the bedroom at 71 deg.fah. Currently I have the Alarm setting giving me a warning every hour of the day...annoying unless I manually turn the Alarm OFF during the day an back on again during the night. But that kind of defeats the purpose of automation.

I like the compact size of the device. Its on the back deck right now, where the temperature is a cool 7.7 F. (at 8:40) and the YoLink says it was 1.4 F at 7:55 and that time difference makes it hard to know if the YoLink is correct. But, early this morning I did see it 0.2 F displayed on my phone, and the local weather station (down the street) recorded a low this morning of 0.6 F. So, I think its working pretty well. Before I put this outside on the deck, I noticed that changing from C to F or F to C, would instantly display the current temperature (on the LCD and the app). So, it can be forced to sample, display and send data to the app. The only negative I can see right now, is the slow sample rate that Im seeing when the sensor is outdoors. I can ask Alexa what is the temperature in the Prius and she says The Prius Temperature is 5.7 Degrees. But, I dont yet know how to create an Alexa routine that can trigger an action when the temperature is <= 5.0 F.. So, this sensor isnt very useful yet. Maybe I should see what IFTTT can do for me. ~~3/26/2023 I ordered a Yolink SpeakerHub. I can trigger a Yolink Routine when the temperature hits an alarm limit! I set the limit for 90F and put in a south facing window. When the sun comes bright, it gets up to 90F and commands my Yolink speaker to say (custom) Hey Google, turn on the Inverter. My Google Hub, controls Meross Outlet 120Vac switches. The switch named Inverter turns on, drives a relay that activates my 3000W Sine Wave inverter. The Alert Interval is set for 60 mins. (if the sun is still warm, we get a new Alert every hour). My Merross switch is set to run max run time of 65 mins. If it gets a restart every 60 mins, it keeps the inverter running until the sun is about to go down. My inverter is driven by a 48vdc battery bank, but when its charged, I can use the 800w solar panels to run some the loads in the basement. Freezer, Fios system, inhouse ethernet gear and a PlaneFinder tracking system. The main loads are the sump pumps. When the basement floods! Like we just had when all the snow melted. Both Alexa and Google speakers can work to control the solar inverter, Im using a Google speaker hub, because it was already installed near the Yolink Speaker Hub.

Recomendados.

Ive had 4 moisture sensors in the attic now for over 2 years and 2 temp-humidity sensors. Due to house layout, I have 2 hubs. From day 1 the hubs would not connect to the WiFi. Fortunately I have two router satellite stations with RJ45 plugs. YoLink sent me a third hub over a year ago, but it failed to connect via WiFi as the original two did. Today I pulled the third hub out again (Dec 2022), just to see if something might have changed. No joy, so hub 3 goes back into storage. I continue to see hub connection issues on the Q&A which YoLink attributes to firewalls, user connections, etc. In other words, the problem is with the user. Im convinced the problem is with the YoLink design, which theyve been unable or unwilling to fix. Yes, Ive been in touch with tech support when I originally received the hubs. No joy. Other than the hub issue, the sensors work great, and actually detected an AC condensation leak earlier this year and sent me alarm notices. But dont plan on the hubs being connected to your house WiFi. Maybe they will, but if they wont like many of us, you will have to rely on hard cable connection for operations.

Pleased with units thus far, no hiccups or erratic readings. Seem to be accurate but have no way to calibrate so can’t really say for sure. Would buy again if needed.

I got this to monitor the temperature in a storage shed. I wanted to link it with Alexa and set up a routine to turn on a vent blower at a certain temperature range. Turns out this links with Alexa fine, but only shows the temperature. Thats it. The humidity does not even show in Alexa. You cant even ask Alexa to state the temperature from it, you have to manually look at it. And Alexa will not recognize it to set up a routine like I wanted either for some reason. Well, at least I can monitor the temperature and get a notification from the Yolink app when the temperature gets too high. Keeping it because I might use it elsewhere, but Ill be buying something else to trigger the vent blower.

This sensor is affordable, easy to set up an has a incredibly long range including excellent wall and freezer door penetration. Customer service is quick and helpful. I have only one issue, which they have said they will fix in an upcoming release, which is that the alarm can not be used in a freezer scenario. As you see in the photo, all freezers are below temp threshold, so they would alarm continuously. They are reducing the lower limit to address this soon. In the future I hope they offer an even lower cost version without the LCD display which is very nice but useless when inside a freezer or other place I can’t see... I look forward to testing their other sensors soon.

I use several YoLink sensors to monitor for leaks and these for monitoring our refrigerators while we are traveling. I can check the condition of things around the house from anywhere on my phone. Gives me piece of mind along with my security cameras.

I ordered an additional temperature sensor as I have a few already and I am happy with them. I also have some water leak sensors. I was having a little trouble setting it up and contacted customer service and they walked me through it as they always do -I am very happy with the product and the service!

I have 6 of them, I tried several others before and did not worked as this ones. I use them to monitor my cold rooms and freezers and they worked as advertise. The cold rooms and freezers previously could not being measured due to “distance” or thick walls, the signal with yolink has no problem. I write this review because this just paid itself, one of the rooms send an alert for high temperature, someone left the door opened, this has just saved me a lot of money and a big headache. I recommend them!
