This plug-in Z-wave smart switch easily integrated into my Samsung SmartThings environment and let me convert my standard on/off lamp into a “smart” dim-able lamp.

Im using this Z-Wave outlet switch in a Smartthings system. Everything works perfectly and it was easy to install. Ive got this on a garage outlet I use to charge an ebike battery. Since the battery charger is cheap, I dont trust it not to overcharge to battery once the charging is complete so I use the Smartthings panel to tell the outlet to turn off x number of hours after I start the charge. I prefer Z-Wave devices like this as opposed to Wi-Fi. For me they are much more reliable and easier to install into my system. I also dont like having to have separate apps for each brand device. With Z-Wave, my Smartthings app controls everything and I can easily access my devices from Google Home as well.

Bought a few of these to add to my HomeAssistant Zwave mesh. Added to HomeAssistant with no issues. Have a light connected to the smart plug and a dehumidifier connected to the always on. Been rock solid thus far.

I have this added to my Home Assistant setup. Was easy to add and home assistant recognized it. Thinking of getting a few more! This item seems to have the highest wattage allowed for the cheapest price compared to the other items I looked at.

As I said, this unit is inexpensive compared to the competition. I had no problems whatsoever integrating this with Indigo Domotics (MacOS-based home automation server) as my Z-Wave hub. The server recognized the unit immediately and responds well to the on/off/dim commands. Follow the instructions and start adding the module to your hub before plugging it in. Once it is plugged in, it automatically starts sending signals to your hubs Z-Wave inclusion mode. Based on longer-term reliability which is yet to be determined, I may choose to buy more of these to replace the older, now-obsolete, and increasingly unobtainable Insteon dimmer modules that I have been using over the last fifteen years. Some of my older controllers are failing, so i will have to replace them with Z-Wave modules. These appear to be an excellent budget-minded alternative.

got this so I could dim some lights on the back porch, note these are not all weather so I had to put them inside a weather tight container but they have worked great!!

Liked the ease of install. Disliked on-off button in the prominent location that activates if furniture in front of it touches it. Great to have Xmas lights go on in early AM as well as PM and automatically turn on when ambient light darkened.

Hubitat finds the device when in pairing mode, but cannot get past the initiation phase. Claims to be Z-Wave Plus standard, but I doubt it.

Added to z wave network without a problem. Im using a Homeseer hub. Just plug it in and include. Fast and easy.
