> 3 dayThis plug-in Z-wave smart switch easily integrated into my Samsung SmartThings environment and let me convert my standard on/off lamp into a “smart” dim-able lamp.

> 3 dayIm using this Z-Wave outlet switch in a Smartthings system. Everything works perfectly and it was easy to install. Ive got this on a garage outlet I use to charge an ebike battery. Since the battery charger is cheap, I dont trust it not to overcharge to battery once the charging is complete so I use the Smartthings panel to tell the outlet to turn off x number of hours after I start the charge. I prefer Z-Wave devices like this as opposed to Wi-Fi. For me they are much more reliable and easier to install into my system. I also dont like having to have separate apps for each brand device. With Z-Wave, my Smartthings app controls everything and I can easily access my devices from Google Home as well.

Greater than one weekLiked the ease of install. Disliked on-off button in the prominent location that activates if furniture in front of it touches it. Great to have Xmas lights go on in early AM as well as PM and automatically turn on when ambient light darkened.

Greater than one weekI’ve got a tone of smart plugs and switches all tied via zwave or zigbee using home assistant as my system to manage it all. This plug gets picked up quickly and works every time. I have this plugged in behind a couch and I do have to keep the couch off the plug because the on/off button is easy to press and directly on the front. I would have preferred the side of the unit.

> 3 dayFinally, a SmartThings plug that does all the connecting for you AND works! You do not need to download any additional apps to make this work, unlike the Wemo plugs. 1.) Simply open your Smartthings or AEOtec app; 2.) hit the + (add device) button; 3.) then plug this into an outlet, and SmartThings sees it. Done...thank goodness.

> 3 dayI tried two of these. The first one could never be found by SmartThings. Returned. The second one could be found, and paired but was inoperable from SmartThings, with some sort of error returnned. Replaced with a Minoston MP21ZD which I had set up in 5 minutes.

> 3 dayUpdate 4 months later. 5 stars to 1 star. Outlet no longer responds to smartthings. It will report its state(on or off) but it will not respond to on or off commands via smartthings or alexa. Attempted to remove device and re pair, but it does not show up. It is a paperweight now. Power load on device was 8 watts. Should not have died with such little amperage. This paired with smartthings very easily. I use it to automatically turn on the under cabinet lights when there is motion. I like that it leaves enough access to the other outlet on the wall. The second unswitched output is a big plus. Alexa found it no problem.
