> 24 hourNeeds improvements. The heat from the halogen burns out the fluorescent bulb. Lost 2 $15 bulbs

> 24 hourI like how easy it sits on top of an enclosure, Its suitable for young reptiles in a small space. I returned this product because it does not produce enough heat or UV source for a full grown reptile and their much needed large enclosure. Youll probably only get 3 months use out of this, but I immediately returned it without testing out how long.

> 24 hourI love the design, it doesnt look like a bare lamp on the tank. The ONLY reason it doesnt get 5 stars, there arent two switches. Both bulbs are on or off. I wish I could turn them on/off independently. Because of that, I need a separate lamp for night. Otherwise I would have two of these on my tank.

> 24 hourThis product saves space and does give off a lot of heat into the room and my anoles love it. Been using it now for around 4 months. Only complaint is the halogen bulbs are annoying to remove and put it.

> 24 hourI was suspicious that this thing wasnt heating up my 10 gallon terrarium much. The dark rocks I put under it werent really warm to the touch. I got an infrared gun, and sure enough, its raising the temperature of a rock below it maybe a few degrees, say up from 72 to 76 F. Really weak compared to the advertisements of the halogen bulb (sold separately) claiming 90 F. Meanwhile, the fixture itself gets to 120 F. So theres plenty of heat being generated, but most of it stays in the fixture, probably eroding the lifespan of the UVB bulb.
