First one came damaged, not the box just the lid. The replacement also came already bent/scuffed too…

Works perfect, good and sturdy. Love that it has hinges for easy opening without taking the while screen off. Holds up well to heat lights and kids pushing down on it.

Does exactly what I wanted. Easy access and keeps turtles in, allowing natural sunlight in for good health, & keeps kids/dogs/wildlife OUT (as well as leaf debris, etc). If used like this outside (on a glass tank), however, you must have it where it will STAY in shade or your pets will overheat & suffer until they die. Even though it is a screen, it still traps a lot of heat. Overall, for me, this is just what I needed. Good product.

Received 1/31/17 and probably didnt unpack and place on turtle tank for 7-10 days. Today is March 26, 2017 and it already is rusting. Very poor quality. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that it arrived promptly, was the right size, and hinged.

I was pleased with the way this screen lid feels and the hinges work very well. Ive had problems in the past with hinged lids being balky and hard to lift, but this one is great. It works smoothly and doesnt pop off-center when open, making it easy to close the tank back up quickly and without fuss. Highly-recommended hinged lid for 55 gal. aquarium!

The hinges are good, I can open it and not have to mess with the lights.

I like how you dont have to left the whole top off the aquarium. knowing my snake cannot escape also a plus. put the heat lamp on top and you are good to go.

I realized that my rat had been escaping her tank a while ago so I started to look for a lid that would be sturdy and durable to resist her nibbling. This is exactly that. I had trouble trying to find one that had a center hinge but this was the perfect find.

In many respects these screen covers are fine; I have four. They are quite reasonable priced; provide good ventilation; fit properly; hinge well; and resist rust. Unfortunately, they sag at the center. It is not terrible hard to reinforce the centers to make the screen more solid and I have done this to all of mine. Except for that one drawback I would give 5 stars. Should I need another for a new tank I would not hesitate to buy it.
