Zoo Med Repti Basking Lamp 50 Watt for Reptiles

I purchased this item based on the reviews. I used this for an aquatic turtle tank 8-10 hours per day. It burned out after a few weeks of use, although it did work well for the short time it lasted.

Used this for 12 hours a day and it lasted 9 days before it burned out.

The bulb came in perfectly..Except it was broken and didnt work.. Wont buy again unless I get a refund or replacement, this is pretty upsetting to be honest.

Great! My painted turtle loves this lamp and spends almost all afternoon napping under it.

When i got the package it was squashed so was the bulb. Not only that it came late as well.

Fizzled out within 1 week of use.

These bulbs blow pretty fast! Its upsetting but... Our snake needs heat and light so.... Eh

The genius that packed my bulb packed it with a spray bottle with cleaner and barely any packing material so it was shattered when it got to my house. 1 star because I dont even have the option to get it replaced, I can only return it. Im not returning a broken bulb.

Hd the bulb running about 6-8 hours a day for a month and a half now and havent had a problem. My red eared slider loves it!

The first time i got a basking bulb of this kind it cooked my first turtle,(75 watts only 3 inches away)but for this 50 watt its a differnt story my turtles always bask now. Buy it and dont over heat your baby yellow baby rescue :(
