> 24 hourI purchased this item based on the reviews. I used this for an aquatic turtle tank 8-10 hours per day. It burned out after a few weeks of use, although it did work well for the short time it lasted.

> 24 hourThe genius that packed my bulb packed it with a spray bottle with cleaner and barely any packing material so it was shattered when it got to my house. 1 star because I dont even have the option to get it replaced, I can only return it. Im not returning a broken bulb.

> 24 hourI normally buy the 150 watt exo terra intense basking bulb version, but since I upgraded my other dragons tank, my main dragon is in a zen and I needed to up his temp just a little bit so I bought a 50 watt instead, since that was all I needed. These bulbs last a good 6months, but I normally get a little over a year out of my bulbs before they go out on me. I have had the occasional bulb thats gone out within a week, but 95% of the time, I get 10+ months out of these bulbs and they put out so much more heat than other reptile basking bulbs.

> 24 hourI purchased a pair of these basking lamps for our aquatic turtles terrarium. The first one burned out within 10 days. So, I felt lucky that Id purchased a second one - but it lasted less than 20 days. So, a total 30 days for 2 lamps. Maybe Zoo Med thinks thats a bargain, but Im looking for a more reliable, long lasting product.

> 24 hourOrdered two 4 months ago and they have both burned out. I have the light set on a timer that runs 10 hours a day. I think that these lamps should work for more than 600 hours... On 4/20/2013 I emailed the manufacturer to inquire if there had been a bad batch of bulbs because of the previously mentioned conditions. They replied that these bulbs are covered by a 90-day warranty and if I supplied them with a copy of my receipt from Amazon the bulbs would be replaced. I did and they shipped two replacement bulbs to me. I raised my rating from 2 to 4 stars based on this warranty coverage, but I may change that AGAIN if these replacements wear out as quickly as the first two!
