22-11-2024Bought on March 28 and stopped working after 3 Months. Frustrating. Had to move my chameleon into the sun room and find replacement.

> 3 dayThe fixture didn’t work out of the box but I thought it may have been the bulb, I switched it out and after some wiggling the light finally turned on. I had it plugged into a timer and after two days, it stopped turning on. Switching outlets doesn’t work either. I’ve tried reaching out to the seller but they haven’t responded for a couple weeks.

> 3 dayVERY sturdy hood, it feels very well made. Includes a 5.0 uvb bulb if you didnt know (i didnt realize it came with one when i ordered it). T5 fixtures are a bit pricey but i think this is going to serve me well for many years to come.

Greater than one weekIt puts out a lot of light for being a small lighting fixture. It gets warm, too, so it adds needed warmth for most reptiles.

> 3 dayIt is a great product to keep your reptiles healthy. Just wish it came with a way to mount it in a wooden enclosure. I ended up using L brackets and placing it on those! Over all great quality!

Greater than one weekSuggested for my veiled chameleon. Hood is compact and fits small tanks.

22-11-2024Received it fast and proper packaging. I was so happy. I immediately opened it, took it out. Read the little book, and put it on top of my terrarium. It turned on, I was happy my chameleon would finally have proper UVB light. Then it turned off... I tapped the top, and it came back on. Stayed on for a while, then it turned off again. Kept happening throughout the day, it would turn on with another tap but I figured, that can’t be right -or safe-... I even took the bulb out and back in to see if it was lose... nope, same thing kept happening. Will be returning this.
