This product actually came with a bulb and I had ordered one as well. The light give great ambiance to the tank without hurting my Geckos eyes. I only leave it on for 12 hours a day and off for 12 and it is set on a timer. Works great and fits well on top of tank.

It is a great product to keep your reptiles healthy. Just wish it came with a way to mount it in a wooden enclosure. I ended up using L brackets and placing it on those! Over all great quality!

I would not recommend this. It did work for a day and then it faulted out when I moved it. I would have to move the wire to be able to get it lit up. But now it wont turn on at all.

I got thos for my tortoise table. It stays put and does its job.

The fixture didn’t work out of the box but I thought it may have been the bulb, I switched it out and after some wiggling the light finally turned on. I had it plugged into a timer and after two days, it stopped turning on. Switching outlets doesn’t work either. I’ve tried reaching out to the seller but they haven’t responded for a couple weeks.

Bulb was broken.

This fixture is great, its just what I needed. Fits perfectly on top of my Zoo Med screen cage for my baby chameleon Drax. The fixture is very streamline. Only thing is I wish the bulb was brighter and lit the cage up more. I have CFLs in my dart frog and crested gecko vivariums which put out a significant amount of light so I might end up adding one to the screen cage just to living things up as well as help out the plant(s) in with my chameleon. Overall for UVB output though its great and does the job well.

Ordered this light for my guy and continuously have to hit it to turn it on like there is a glitch

Not worth the price, personally I would have gone with a cheaper UVB option.
