Zoo Med Turtle Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp

Love this and my turtle loves it it does help with keeping water warmer ,, will buy but only when the price is right!!!!,!

My turtles prefer this to their previous basking light and I am not sure why. They love it and will now only bask at the area of the lamp with this light. It produces minimal heat which is a plus for me and to regulate their temperature better. I have had it for a few weeks now and it works great.

I would have to say that after having about 5 of these bulbs, Ive only had trouble with one.... Not all things are made perfectly but my 2 RES have busted a reg zoo med bulb and cleaning the glass out of a 40 gal tank wasnt a lot of fun

Its been months and it still hasnt given out

Less than 1 month and bulb is not working... I have to order immediately another one as i dont want my turtle to suffer. Waste of money

Exactly what I needed to keep my turtles happy. This bulb seems to last and Ive been using it for couple months now without any issues what so ever.

I had one of these for 2 years in my turtles tank and my little turtle loved it. Moved 3000 miles in a Uhaul and unfortunately mine finally gave out. Immediately ordered this one and it works like a charm.

It works, theres just visible oxidation of the copper (from brown to green) connecting the bulb and the golden colored socket, I connected it and it turns on to a light yellow, pretty good brightness. Shipping was bad, it was stuffed in the mailbox, USPS shipped. Didnt leave it at front porch, and the box was a bit crushed, I was worried that the bulb was going to be broken but it was safe inside, as the bulb is small. EDIT: broke after 2 months :/, thats just it, stopped working after
