> 3 dayLots of people complain that these dont last very long. I have 2 of these lights for 2 different setups and after 6 months had to replace my first bulb. Well see how long my replacement lasts, but the original bulbs lasted longer that I would have expected them.

> 3 dayJust bought my second 50W Repti Tuff bulb after my first bulb lasted nearly 2 years. Only reason i needed a new one was i dropped my first one and it blew. Update: The one i bought from this person only lasted 2 weeks and now a replacement is coming hopefully it lasts. Shipping is very slow and takes up to 2 weeks to arrive.

> 3 dayI have had an adult RES for nearly a decade. Every light Ive ever purchased from Zoo Med has burned out well before its stated average number of hours. I bought the Turtle Tuff light when I was unable to find my preferred brand in December of 2011 - and it burned out after six weeks! Thats only 336 hours of usage, not the 2500 hours advertised. This isnt the exception, but the rule. Zoo Med lights are poorly made and I wouldnt recommend them to any herp owner. Avoid at all costs!

> 3 dayI use this as an alternative to a water heater. The turtle loves it. I turn it on for about 5 hours per day. So far, so good.

> 3 dayI think the wording on the product description is wrong. It leads u to think that this is a lamp but its just a light bulb. I expanded the pic to see felt sure what it was but couldnt get a clear read. The description on the product doesnt help either.
