Zoo Med Turtle Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp

Crap. Same crap you buy in the store that stops working within a week or two. I’ll be looking for a new solution.

Once I connected the bulb, the inside light broke. I technically would even call it a broke after first use since it didnt even turn it on, it broke off immediately once connected to a power source.

It seemed like a nice sturdy light bulb for my red ear sliders habitat. But something about it she did not like at all. She hid on the other side of the tank for a day and 1/2 until I put back in one of her old brand lights. She ran right over to it and started basking. Not even gonna guess what she didnt like about it but it seemed nice for the price. I will just keep getting my Myrtle her same bulbs from PetSmart.

There isnt much to say about a light bulb... it turns on when I turn on the lamp and off when I turn it off. Its been doing that every day for about a year now. That makes me happy. Im looking forward to continuing this pattern for a while. When it stops working, I will be buying another from the same seller. Thats about it.

I have purchased one of these bulbs almost a 1 year ago, and it just blew out today. Did a great job of giving off heat. Will be using again. Also have dealt with ZooMed customer service before and they were excellent.

This is the perfect lamp for my red-eared slider turtle. She will bask in the light for the longest time. After adding the lamp, she grew by leaps and bounds! It made her happy. I have it clipped on the side of the aquarium as instructed-not clipped on the glass. Ive had no trouble with this product and highly recommend it.

I turn it on for about three hours a day. Before I bought this one, my previous one lasted for a few years. But this one lasted only two months.

the only basking bulb i will ever buy for my 2 red eared sliders.

Shouldve expected just the bulb... My expectations for this were way too high so when it came in it was a bit disappointing. Hopefully I can find a lamp that fits the bulb. Maybe my money wasnt wasted after all?
