This product looks clean (I just received it) and felts just fine. its not actually 8oz though - more like 7.25oz. Not a big deal for my purposes, but for anyone who needs exact quantities you might be disappointed.

Incredibly soft roving wool, great for felting projects. My only complaint is that the felt was so abundant it tore through the box! Youll definitely need a new container
