This roving was very difficult to felt; I received some other roving from Amazon that was easy to split and felt. Even though this roving was soft and received a good quantity for my money, I would not recommend as core or topcoat. I had to stab much more than my other roving and it still was too fuzzy as a top coat.

This is a really great wool! Im a pretty new needle felter, but it felts up nicely and easily for me~ The color is true to the picture, and the box is packed full!

Looks like a small box but fluffs up alot when pulled out ofvthe box. Dyed it in mushrooms and was happy with results.
