I rather recently got into Needle Felting and have been trying out various different wools, techniques, tools, etc. I like how soft and clean this wool is as well as how easy it is to work with. Its quite a bit of wool as well and its also good for creating a base for your projects.

Ive been using Corriedale 8 oz cream for the core of my animal. I have found it takes a lot of work to get the shape you want, but it is relatively cheap wool for the amount they give you and does work great as the core of your animal. It just takes longer to get a firm core. Whats nice about it, this cream/white can also be used for white places on your animal. No need to add white. Just use the exposed core.

Nice spin. Nice color. Still has the natural, wet wool smell. Good draft but easy to over spin.
