My kids use this made some art works. It’s fun and creative. Good quality.

I am having so much fun wit this tool...so many different mediums work with the gel block....I am doing lots of playing, learning and enjoying!

I absolutely love this little printmaking tool. So easy to use, and one never knows what type of print is pulled. Really addictive and fun to use!! I use my prints from it in card making and backgrounds for painting!

Love this! I bought this along with Vicki Boutin stamps. It was very easy to learn how to make deep layered patterns for backgrounds for my mixed media projects. A huge timesaver for me and fun as well. I think I will get the next size up for larger projects as well. This is perfect for my homemade cards and journals that I make.

Works great and less expensive

Came in package with large surface defects. Not sure what the uneven surface is due to, but it reflects on the prints

It’s ok but I wish I’d just paid a few more dollars for a Geli plate.

One of my sisters introduced me to the Gel Plate. With no prior knowledge of it, nor techniques for its use, I was able to use the plate immediately as I experimented with color and eventually with stencils. Under supervision, this literally is a product for all ages. There is a learning curve, but one that can be extremely satisfying with use...the only real limitation will be the limits of ones own creativity. Have used the plate with stunning effects just using leaves from one of the trees outside. With the use of stencils, also available here on Amazon, you will get a more fixed, predictable final outcome, within the vast array of color combinations that Acrylics affords. If you want an idea of what to expect from the Gel Plate, look up videos on YouTube. Quite a few of the excellent video instructors have their own shops here within Amazon. If you have a budding artist in your family that you love, this would make a perfect gift and one that can help open the doors of creativity for so many, no matter how young, nor how old, (I am soon to be 70). Yes, I would highly recommend this to others to enjoy!

There seems to be some type of chemical or something that bubbles up a little disrupting the smoothness. Today it left a big odd shaped ring after I applied acrylic paint. I would like a new one. What a hassle. I will go back to Gelli Plate.
