This is fun and easy for all ages. Used to create interesting backgrounds for more involved painting as well as nice arty pieces when you use stencils and torn paper to create nice edges. cleans up easily when using acrylic, goache and water color paints.

I like the never ending variations of color and design you are able to combine.

I havent put it through all its paces yet but I am unsure if I like the plate or not. The package was all scratched up like it had been moved around or used a lot. Even the sheets that protect the plate are all marred. The plate was covered in lint and I think a dog hair, like it had been used. There are definitely bubbles in the plate and each corner has a small round nic in them. I dont know if it was from the manufacturing or not. Like I said, I havent put it through all of its paces, I just pulled one print so far, and it was a layered print so unclear if the bubbles will show through a more solid print. I will update this later today when I have more time to thoroughly use it.

I should have bought the larger size. I found the grocery wrap papers at a restaurant supply store locally. I bought it as I didnt want to buy and make a home that would get dirty after one session. But the full size.

arrived on time, packaged well and in good condition. I have only used it once but it seems fun and will do what I need it to do. Some people complained of bubbles etc... Mine can in good condition, no bubbles and has a thing hard plastic case to store it in to keep it clean and dust free.

Gel pad is wonderful for cards, art projects involving making interesting paper art, etc.
