> 3 dayGreat for monotypes and at home printmaking. Slightly smaller than standard printer paper, has rounded corners. Avoid using marked paper it might pick up graphite and won’t come off now, doesn’t affect my prints but now i have tiny permanent doodles. Also I tried using a stencil i had made with transparency paper and accidentally placed it on the sticky side to my plate and it sort of fused together. I had to pry it apart with water but it damaged one side so now I just use the other rip.

> 3 dayI ordered this Gell plate by accident, trying to order a Gelli plate brand name. It feels the same as my brand name Gelli plate, and creates, surprisingly just as well. It was an awesome value for the money! I will buy more of these products. Also, I did see that some people had bubbles in their plate, I purchased a brand name Gelli palate and it had the same bubbles thing, use the plate, the bubbles are surface only and disappear with a little pressure. I was able to use and enjoy with the same ease. I recommend this product to anyone who has never printed and is trying to save a few dollars. They literally are so similar, once out of the container you will not be able to tell them apart. I am very happy with my product. If you look at my prints, you cant tell the difference between the two plates that I used. I also tried both Artists Loft acrylics (very inexpensive) with Golden Open Acrylics (extremely expensive), both worked very similar. I will use the less expensive ones. I do use a good sturdy Bristol paper that can be bought in bulk, that is less expensive than art store paper. Have fun!

> 3 dayThis is so sad. Ive had 2 VERY BAD quality plates shipped to me. One was a replacement for the first one that was a defective product. Abnormal BUBBLES in the interior were not the worst part, but the PITTING left in the plates surface by the same kind of bubbles surely is. WINK (the seller here at Amazon) authorized a free replacement for me, which was good of them. I am currently unable to get out owing to health issues + family members are preoccupied and cannot help with return shipping of the seriously FLAWED gel plate. So this was really good of WINK to do. BUT. There are still problems, one to do with Amazons shipping dept. and the other to do with product quality standards. My gel plates clamshell wasnt protected by any packing materials whatsoever, and this led to it becoming damaged en route. This wouldnt be a big deal if that same clamshell pkg were not the place to store this kind of gel plate between uses. Within and on the surface of the second shipped plate are the same form of bubbles, only smaller. The surface looks a little like acne scars. The first plate was far worse, but all gel plates are supposed to be bubble free and totally free of blemishes on all surfaces. Their total smoothness is what makes prints taken from their surfaces actually turn out as they are supposed to. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO GEL PRESS, the company that manufactured both plates? Theyve had a solid reputation for years. here are some photos I took.

> 3 dayThe poor review is for the seller, who sold me a USED item. I noticed after my first use that it had some indentations, scratches, and tiny typed text, as from a newspaper or book page. Dishonest sellers ruin it for everyone else .
