> 3 dayThese actually work. They minimize the smells by a significant amount, but not completely. The smells WILL come back after wearing your shoes again though as these do not deal with the odor bacteria in the shoe.

> 3 dayI bought these for my baseball player college aged son. He said they didnt do much in the way of order absorption. They are well made, just didnt work for us.

Greater than one weekAn important aspect of this product is to activate it with sunlight. It is difficult to confirm it is “activated” after it has been left in sunlight. I tried to use this to remove musty odors and smoke odors from vintage Louis Vuitton bags. I liked that it was sustainable and reusable. It did not work. I will keep trying but so far no luck at eliminating odors.

> 3 dayIf these keep my work boots stink free then trust me they will work for you. I used to use odor eaters insoles and had to replace every few weeks. I gave these a try and I was shocked. No odor. And they dry up my boots over night from my sweaty feet. I just put 2 in each boot after work and thats it. Been using them for a couple months now.

> 3 dayGot these for my sneakers and others. You get 12 bags. Says to recharge in the sun after 30 days. I dont get very much sun here on the Oregon coast, so not sure how thats gonna work.. but since there are 12 perhaps I can rotate them and wait for the summer? Having said that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

> 3 dayI was really skeptical at first but for the price, it was worth a go. Followed the directions, stuck them in my embarrassingly stinky shoes, and after a few days, I noticed odor was reduced. Great buy!

Greater than one weekUpdated: added a couple stars due to seller response. They believe in their product, even if I dont and they did what they could to resolve my complaint. I dont know if I just got a dud or what. I left all 12 bags out all day in direct sunlight as directed. Couldnt even smell them a little bit. Tried to use them anyway. Put some in a shoe locker, and some directly in the shoes. It has had zero effect. Waste of money.

> 3 dayI don’t know what kind of magic pixie dust they fill these things with, but my shoes are all now odor free. I used to pour baby powder into my shoes (mostly my sneakers) at least once a week. I haven’t had to do that since I bought these. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI must have gotten a dud. The first time I ordered this, it worked well, and now I opened them and couldnt smell a thing. I put them out in sunlight for hours, but it still made no difference. I even cut open one of the new ones, but the charcoal still didnt give off any scent. I know I can smell things OK, because I could still smell the old ones that I had been using for months. Its odd because they arrived well-sealed, so its not like theyve already been exposed to the air for a while and lost their scent.
