I was a skeptic at first. I didnt believe that this would actually work in reducing the smell in my stinky shoes or completely getting rid of them. I have really smelly feet. It could be a combination of wearing the wrong socks that dont really breath, to only wearing one shoe to wearing them for everything a total of 12+ hours a day. Beating my shoes up and trapping all the sweat in to create the perfect scenario for your shoes to smell like stinky tofu. I was on therapy on using deodorant on the soles of my feet to the bottom of my socks to actually prevent a lot of sweat from forming. (it actually helps in minimizing the odor from your feet and reduces the smell in the shoe) I also changed my socks out every 4-6 hours and placed it in a bag, that seemed to help also. The two main things that REALLY helped were buying more shoes and swapping them out daily and using the Marsheepy charcoal pads. They tend to actually absorb the dampness and the smell pretty well. From a stink level of 10/10 (10 being the max stinkiness), it brought it down tremendously from 10 to a good 3-2. Its not noticeable anymore from 10 feet away you have to be right next to it to actually get a good smell of it now. I place some of these in the bathroom of my house and my work and they tend to make those rooms smells decent now. I also place these in my gym bag and my laundry basket. It reduces the smell down to barely noticeable. I highly suggest getting these to just absorb the weird odors and smells from a high schooler or someone who smells.

Got these for my sneakers and others. You get 12 bags. Says to recharge in the sun after 30 days. I dont get very much sun here on the Oregon coast, so not sure how thats gonna work.. but since there are 12 perhaps I can rotate them and wait for the summer? Having said that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

These dont smell like anything. I live in a small mother in law house. I probably only needed about 4 of these but since they came in a 12 pack, I put them everywhere I could think of. I put them in drawers, cabinets, and on top of some of my furniture. Im so glad I bought these because no matter how much I cleaned my place, I couldnt get rid of a funky smell. I bought Glade Plug-ins but as soon as the liquid evaporated my place would smell funky again. These have worked great! No more funky smell. Yay!!!

Waiting to activate them is a pain but they work pretty good. I see a significant reduction of odor in my husbands shoes.

This product is great at keeping things from becoming smelly but once they are, they don’t aid it very well. They take some smell away but not a lot. I do love how environmentally friendly they are however. If used before the smell is a big problem, they are great!

I was a bit skeptical that these could eliminate the smell on my work boots but they truly stood up to the task. One caveat, theyre not going to work overnight (at least not in my case). I started with one in each boot and left them overnight and was disappointed that the next day it was the same odor. I decided to add an extra pack to each boot and then waited a day and the smell had diminished but not gone away entirely. After a week or so the smell was finally gone and stayed gone as long as I left the two packets. Now as soon as I get home from work I put two packets in and the boots are odor free the next morning. Would recommend these to anyone.

I wear a lot of shoes without socks. My shoes were starting to stink really bad. I bought these charcoal bags, placed them in the sun like the instructions suggest, and placed them in six pairs of shoes. Im happy to report that my shoes no longer smell like stinky, sweaty feet. There is a little odor still, but youll have that just from wearing the shoes. I am now buying another set of these since I just bought six more pairs of shoes. Would highly recommend!!

Updated review. Product is well made, but did not work for me. Customer service is outstanding, they take care of every customer.

I have a built-in shoe closet in my apartment. The door keeps the shoe odour from spreading in the apartment but the closet itself smells so I got these. They dont eliminate the odour completely but work pretty well. I have a dozen shoes in the closet. It still smells but its not as strong as before. Its tricky to recharge these year-round because winters are pretty grey here. I wish there was another way to recharge them.
