This product is under rated. It is a great product I have bought it twice for new 3ds xl and it hasnt disappoint. I first try the hori screen film protector because of the high rating and reviews but was disappointed on the outcome. Both hori and akwox offer the same protection it doesnt cover the entire screen completely but the difference is the top screen protection. The film protector on the hori kind off cuts the transparency unlike the the akwox tempered glass it makes the screen stand out more with vivid images. Thats why I recommend this product. If you have bubbles after installing just use a credit card and LCD soft cloth to squeeze the air bubbles out. Most important tip follow the installation instructions.

Works but a little too small. Less than 1/16 inch BUT...I would expect a NEAR perfect fit.

The screen protectors fit nicely, come with the extra cleaning cloths and accessories to make installation easier, and overall are a good pick for protecting your 3DS screens. I have no issues with the touch screens, and the biggest issue might be glare, but doesnt effect use really.

I initially rated this one star, because the top screen protector didnt stick at all. Turns out, it seems that one of the protectors in each pack (I bought 2) is a dud, and peeling the protective film off doesnt peel ALL of it off, resulting in it not sticking. Otherwise, well, its a decent screen protector.

As some have already woken it up, 1/2 mm is missing all around the screen. Basically, the screen is not completely 100% protected. Personally, its a problem because it cant find a replacement glass from the original one. I planned to use this system to replace my original glass.

The top piece of glass is great and I have absolutely no issues. The bottom piece on the other hand is why I cant give this product 5 stars. I received my new nintendo 3ds xl in the mail and immediately put the two screen protectors on before turning it on and setting it up. After finally getting the bottom piece as bubbless as it was going to get I turned on my system and immediately noticed none of the controls or buttons where responding. After digging around online for a solution I noticed one of the bottom touch screen buttons where dark gray as if they where being pressed. I immediately removed the bottom screen protector and everything was fine and working again. sucks that I paid full price for only the top half to be usable.

The bottom screen protector doesn’t cover the entire screen so you’ll have a gap that the stylus can get in. The top screen protector’s cover on the adhesive side is difficult to peel off. The tag rips off no matter how slow and careful you pull it. You have to pick at the cover to peel it off which puts the adhesive side at risk of getting fingerprints and dust on it. It gets the job done but it’s not worth the price.

So since the Hori screen protectors have been discontinued, Ive been looking for a good substitute. I want to clear the air about these because I think some of the negative reviews here are a bit misinformed. First, this is for the New 3DS XL screens. It wont fit other models. Second, the condition of your screens makes a big difference in how ANY screen protector goes on, including these. New or near mint screens like mine that have been cleaned are going to be easier because nothing will get trapped under there. Third, the bottom screen protector IS a little smaller than the screen, as I see some people saying. This is a GOOD thing. If you look at the touch screen, its sunken in with like a raised edge, see that? If the protector was cut perfectly, youd never be able to get it off because of that edge. The top protector is cut to size because it doesnt have that edge. Having said that, if you line up the bottom protector with any of the sides of the screen, the opposite side will have a noticeable gap, probably 2mm. What you want to do is carefully lay it down so that you split the difference and have a little gap on all sides. You wont notice it while playing and you can pull the protector off if you need to. This is easily the hardest part of applying this screen protector, but I dont know if it would be different with any other brand. As for air bubbles and application, I used the cleaning supplies included and took my time. Both screens went on easily with only one small bubble each. Both of those bubbles disappeared after a little while. Just rub them out towards the edges of the screen. Overall, this is a really good product if you take your time. They include two sets of protectors in case you mess up, which is great. My only real criticism is that this set absolutely REQUIRES a good microfiber cloth to clean the screens, get rid of dust, and wipe off the cleaning solution. Its a big oversight that they didnt include one, so you just have to use your own. Thats my only gripe.

the fit corner to corner is 99.99% there, so dust over time might build in the small edges. the top screen did great with no bubbles so I took my second pair and try to see how much force it took to break and the durability was about 3 - 4 egg shell layers in my opinion. still strong and thick enough for scratches so 5 stars from me on the top screen. Second screen had more of a 99.90% fit and do to nintendos screen not being too even, had to try 3 times reapplying till I had enough and decided to wipe and try again with the second pair of screen protectors in the same case. overall I think this product is doing a great job so 5 stars it is.
