So when I applied the top screen glass it cracked when in closed the 3ds. So I removed it and placed the other on and that cracked too. Now as for the small screen protector it just was not the right size. It didnt even cover the entirety of the touchscreen.

Lets the the 100% not user error out of the way, it doesnt fit a new Nintendo 3ds xl. Its a close fit. It was clearly made for this since thats in the name. But there are OBVIOUS edges all around both the top and bottom screens. Now to the possibly user error issues. When I went to install the bottom screen, I figured it would fit properly so I lined it up with one of the edges and let it go. There was a very large gap on the side I didnt line up as the protector isnt the same size as the screen. Great. I removed and and changed its positioning. . . Well they dont do that so now there are bubbles like crazy and a speck of dust got in it. Next, the top screen has the same issue. Knowing this, I tried to line it up best I could, but as you can see in the pictures there is still an uneven gap and the top part of it already chipped. It actually chipped somehow just from installing it. So theres a giant chip and bubble at the top. Tempered glass installs are usually seamless and easy. This is not either.

The screen protectors fit nicely, come with the extra cleaning cloths and accessories to make installation easier, and overall are a good pick for protecting your 3DS screens. I have no issues with the touch screens, and the biggest issue might be glare, but doesnt effect use really.

Screen works as advertised. I was worried about the 3d feature being hampered by the protector as one of the reviews said, but I dont notice any difference. Installation was a pain though, no matter how I put on the screen I kept getting air bubbles. I am hoping they go away in time. Only other thing I will add is use your own glasses wipes if you have them. The ones provided are alright, but nothing to write home about. If you have a 3ds, then spend the $15 on the screen protector. As the years go by replacement parts will be harder to find. I would rather buy the screen protector today then need to buy a screen replacement later on.

This product is AMAZING!! comes with two sets in case you need to redo a screen or gets gross. Easy to apply and looks great

The top screen protector fit pretty well, but the bottom screen protector was not big enough to fill the entire screen, but it was easy to apply them both, and they included wipes for your screen.

Great product, the screen protector is glass and applied easily and the touch pad has a plastic protector which was harder to apply with no bubbles but came out great and does a great job with allowing the 3ds xl to stay responsive. The best part is they give you a extra protector for each screen which is great to have. One thing to not the display protector is perfectly sized but the touch pad protector is a little smaller then the touch pad but it has not caused any problems or issues. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good screen protector for their NEW 3ds xl . This review is only after a week of ownership so please keep that into perspective when reading my review.

Both screen protectors are slightly smaller than the new 3ds XLs screens, top is tempered glass while the bottom is some kind of plastic from what Im assuming, you definitely have to apply it nicely to not get any bubbles, had to use both of them. First attempt resulted in a lot of bubbles, no matter what I did. Attempted second one and got no bubbles on top screen. A few in the bottom but I just want to protect the screens because I have a limited edition handheld. Its kind of hard to align the screen protectors as well. Cant beat the price.

If I didnt want to make sure my screens were protected, and I didnt have anything else, I would have sent it back and asked for a refund. To be clear: the TOP screen protector is the only one thats glass, and I knew that when I bought the pack; the touch screen is such it wouldnt work with glass, so that ones a film. Fine. And to the credit of the sellers, theres two of both, in case you mess up. And boy, will you. First off, the screen cleaners they give you? Actually DIRTIED MY SCREEN. And I just got this system, so I havent smudged my fingers all over the touch screen. What I would assume were meant to be alcohol wipes actually left a ton of residue, and their equally crap dry wipes made it worse. I had to pull out an actual microfiber cloth and scrub the junk off. So, uh, avoid those. Dont even open them, just toss them. Next, the film: it doesnt fully fit the screen (I seriously have like a quarter of an inch on the bottom thats not covered), and the sticker that helps you position it? Wouldnt come off cleanly. It ripped, and messed up my install, so my fingerprints ended up on the sticky side. So, second try, I carefully pulled that sticker off first (and still had a bit of residue I had to clean off!), positioned it, and set it in place, only then finding out that making sure it was flush with the top meant theres a good strip of it uncovered on the bottom. Seriously? Top screen is the tempered glass, which was easier to install, but it still not a perfect fit. And since it doesnt fit exactly, theres two big bubbles that Im hoping will work themselves out, but Im not holding my breath. I think Im just going to leave it for now and buy a different set.

Very nice screen protector and pretty easy to install. Don’t notice it at all. I installed in a hurry and managed to get some specks on the touch screen but I can live with it for now especially since this was a 2 pack so I can replace at my convenience. The touch screen protector is smaller than the actual touch screen so you’re going to have about a 1/16” gap all the way around but I don’t foresee this being an issue with gameplay. Very good product for price.
