With the bottom screen protector applied, it stopped working as a touchscreen. I had to peel it off to be able to use the stylus again. Obviously not made with the 3ds in mind.

Top screen is actually glass and not some form of plastic. Feels nice and looks great. Applied it today. Much better than the screen protector I was using before. My old inferior protector had far too many air bubbles than I wanted. Easy installation. Clean off all the dust with the included wet and dry wipes. Put the glass on top of the original mount and apply pressure in the middle with your finger. Watch it seal itself. Its a bit smaller around the edges than other protectors I have used. Reasoning that it is glass, it also has a higher profile than other protectors, but its fun to tap on it; and it makes the sound of glass rather than plastic. Following the advice of another review, I did not use the included blue adhesive tabs because of the potential of residue left behind. Worked flawlessly without it. Bottom screen protector is just what you might expect or find with any other protector set. What makes this brand special is the well constructed glass lens for the top screen. This glass could eliminate the scratching of the top screen that occurs when the system is closed? The elevated housing of the bottom screen is badly designed on the 3DS hardware and always rubs against the top screen. Being glass and not plastic, the likelihood of friction blemishes is reduced, I hope.

I dont think some of the people in the reviews understand that this product comes with 2 sets of screen protectors. The tempered glass cover goes on the top screen and the smaller plastic cover goes on the bottom screen. There are 2 sets of these. You do not put a glass over the plastic, there is no point in doing that. The reason the bottom is plastic is because it covers a touch screen. The material needs to be able to have touch register through it. The top is a nicer tempered glass material. This product is nice and works fine. The only problem I had was getting the air bubbles out of the top tempered glass screen protector. It is very difficult, but not really noticeable once the 3DS is turned on.

The Bomb dot com. It was easy to put onto my 3DSXL, I have like one tiny air bubble on the bottom screen which, if youve seen my iPad, is impressive. I cant even tell the glass is on the top screen, but it feels so nice to have it protected. Ive had no troubles with the touch screen since applying. I love that it comes with an extra, so if something does happen and the upper glass breaks Ive got a back up. Same with the cover for the lower, which is not glass but thats because of it being a touch screen. Having a screen protector is still nicer than just jabbing at the screen with my stylus. 12/10 would press onto my screen again.

Okay, so I just got this today. When I first opened the box and picked up the screen protector package, everything about it - from the shape of the package, to the picture on the front of the package, etc- pointed to a mobile phone screen protector instead of a Nintendo system screen protector. Once I opened the package, however, it was exactly as expected: two sets of Nintendo New 3DS XL screen protectors. They both went on easily and stayed on with little trouble. Overall, I like it. Theres just one thing I dont, and that is the fact that the bottom screen stopped responding soon after I put the protector on. I tried a few things to fix it, and determined after a few minutes of frigging around that it was, in fact, the 3DS and not the game I was playing. Pros: - Easy application - Stays on well - Few bubbles - Fits perfectly Cons: - Bottom screen stopped responding a few hours after applying the bottom screen protector

I purchased this screen protector for use with my model New Nintendo 3DS XL. A trick to installing without dust settling on the screen after you clean it is to do so in a bathroom with the hot water running in the shower. The increased humidity will prevent the dust from staying in the air and blowing around. This screen protector pack does not come with a hard piece of plastic for applying the screen protectors evenly. This is something that is essential for preventing air bubbles, and its presence is sorely missed. Luckily, I kept one from my Nintendo Switch screen protector and used it. When I applied the top screen protector, everything lined up and it looked nice with no air bubbles or dust particles. When I applied the bottom screen protector, I noted that when it lined up perfectly at the top, there is a large gap at the bottom (see picture). Its a huge gap that my stylus grinds against. In my opinion, this screen protector does not fit the New Nintendo 3DS XL like it should. I ended up removing the bottom screen protector and only using the top one because the gap caused such trouble using my stylus, and is visibly noticeable when looking at the bottom screen. That is a huge flaw in the product, and I would only give it one star except that the top screen protector works perfectly, so it gets two stars from me. Overall, I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. 2/5 stars. If you found this review helpful, please show some love by clicking the Yes button below. If not, click “No”. The bottom screen is 1-2mm off from being the right size on all sides. Drives my OCD crazy. :/

Helps a lot to prevent scratches on those screens, they are easy to install but I would say that you have to eyeball the alignment to prevent a crooked installation, that is the not so easy part, out of it. I recommend it to keep the screens close to a brand new condition.

I bought this mainly for protecting the bottom screen, which needs a plastic protector because of the specific tech it uses. The fit for the bottom screen is okay. itll cover the most important parts of the screen, but there is a gap around the edges. The screen is just barely covered, its like they made these cover the bare minimum. It does factually cover the screen but theres enough of a gap that I know dust and dirt is going to nestle in there. Since this has to be plastic, youll also need to replace this somewhat often. The top screen is standard glass and covers the screen better. Theres a good amount of overlap, so even a slight misalignment isnt a huge deal. I do only have a slight issue with its thickness however, but this is a super minor issue. The thickness of the top screen does prevent it from closing completely parallel to the bottom screen. I dont think this will be noticeable to the vast majority of people but I felt it was worth mentioning. In short, if you need some protection this will probably work just fine for you. If youre super duper picky like me, there are some areas that could be improved.
