> 3 dayI was nervous to buy these because the smallest flange sizes Spectra had on their website was 20mm and I was worried these wouldn’t fit with the system. These flanges fit perfectly with all the parts that come with the Spectra pump and having the CORRECT size flange made my life bareable again! I was about to give up on breastfeeding and pumping until I finally saw a lactation consultant at 6 weeks out and found out the 24mm flange that comes with the spectra pump was way too big and causing me extreme radiating nipple pain. The consultant recommended I try the 17mm. I looked all around and I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone experiencing nipple pain from pumping with the wrong size flanges!

> 3 dayI needed a smaller flange size but unfortunately Spectra did not make 17mm. These work PERFECTLY with my Spectra S1 and have been so much more comfortable than the 24mm flanges the pump came with.

> 3 dayI got the product maybe a month ago or so and I was loving it, helped pull more milk & was working for me but I keep the plastic part in my work bag at night So I can pump in the morning at work and my bad fell off a box it was sitting on not even 2 ft off the ground and was the smallest drop ever and the entire piece shattered into like 7 pieces with the slightest drop which kind of sucks since it was an expensive part but other than it seeming it broke kind of easy the part was great!

> 3 dayThe first pair I bought had clearly been used (the packaging was ripped, there was grime on the flanges) and not cleaned which is just not sanitary for any baby. I returned those and got a new set. Second set was unopened and clean. They work just fine, just beware you may have to buy multiple until you get an unused pair. It’s hard to find 17 mm flanges otherwise I would’ve tried from a different brand given the first pair I bought.

> 3 dayI previously ordered silicone flange inserts to size down existing flanges, but I had a hard time using them because I couldn’t see my nipple through them well enough to tell if it was centered or not. Since purchasing these, I don’t want to use the others even though they’re the same diameter. I replaced my duckbills at the same time as switching to these flanges, so I can’t say that it’s all due to these, but my milk output is SO much higher, and I can empty my breasts in much less time than I was previously. Highly recommend these.

> 3 dayI ordered because I need the 17mm and that size is hard to find, but I just got these in and the tunnel is too short. I have elastic nipples so it doesnt work with the short tunnel. Disappointing.

03-04-2025I finally realized that medium size clothing and average bra size didn’t equate to average flange size. I thought using the smaller of the two flange sizes that came with the spectra was good enough, but Legendairy lactation pills said 90% of their customers use 19-20mm flanges! What difference switching from 24mm to 17mm made! Each pumping session went from 0.25-1oz on each side to 2-3oz each. Not sure if it’s flange or the combo of flange and Legendairy pills, but this desperate mama is grateful! The only downside is the shields are a bit small, so the pumping session may leak if not careful. But production is so much better with the smaller flanges, so a slight loss is trivial.
