> 24 hourI primarily bought these for my camera equipment. I typically carry my photo gear in a backpack camera bag with a couple spare lenses etc. I hike a lot in the White Mountains of New England so I face humidity in the summer and cold temps. in the winter. One thing you dont want is moisture in your bag and camera equipment. I toss a few of these in the bag and problem solved. These will work for most situations where you need to reduce/eliminate moisture.

> 24 hourWorks well so far, would recommend for people looking to have a low level of humidity in air tight containers. I have multiple dry boxes I use to store 3d printing filaments to protect from the high humidity in my location. Been using cheap silica gel packets from AliExpress for awhile and had difficulty getting humidity below 30% and thought it was due to the containers I was using. Tossed in a few of the packs from dry and dry, within an hour it dropped to 25% and continued to 18% over night. Hopefully, I will return to this review to update how well the process of reactivating their silica gel goes, but at the moment I am highly pleased with their quality.

> 24 hourI use these packets to keep my guitar and basses dry because my parents run a swamp cooler night and day in the summer which brings the humidity up to 60% in the house (we live in a semi-arid climate, so thats really significant), and I can feel the grains swell in my fretboard thats unfinished. I can pop 4-5 of these in each case and they bring it back down to the 40-50% inside the case it should be very quickly. My only regret is that I bought too few (a pack of 50). I think Ill be getting the 200 pack next time since I ran through all 50 packets in just two months and its time to recharge them all way sooner than I thought. Edit: Please be sure to move them around to different areas inside the case every 1-2 days if youre using them for instruments, otherwise youll dry one area and not get others, which can result in your instrument being wet at extreme ends of the case and bone dry in the middle if youve only got them in the supply box. If youre not sure whats dry or not, you can smell all over your instrument to detect moisture levels (even through the finish) so long as its not waxed. Yes, Im a bit weird, but compare it to bread coming straight out of the oven with steam when you cut into it vs. bread thats been sitting on the counter for a week and is dry. Your nose can detect moisture, too, not just smells.

> 24 hourI purchased these for my Gill Mask. It is a silicone mask and when worn for long periods of time, moisture will gather at the base of it and pool there. I discovered these sachets and they work fabulously. I no longer have fogged up glasses or sweaty masks. They keep my mask clean and dry. I bought a big bag and just replace them every week.

> 24 hourI use these packets in canisters of screws and nails I store to prevent rust. Also, I throw a few in a plastic bin if I must store a power tool in it, as it’s a perfect environment for rust and mold - these packets prevent that. They’re a handy size as if the container is large, just use a few more; yet they’re ideal for small containers
